Great value, as it's really good quality for the price.. but would not recommend for anyone shorter than like 6ft as it is made really long.. sizing is way off I ordered my usual XL size and it fit like a XXL couldn't even see my hands & barely could see my shoes then I got a L and although it fits well it won't work as an "overcoat" just as a coat as it would wrinkle my suit underneath. So sizing is off for people that are short with stocky builds. But for the right person this is a respectable addition to their closet. ... show more

Overall this is a really nice midweight coat! It is full length, but be aware of that as a relaxed fit it does run a bit large. I ordered an XL which should be a 46, but it definitely fits more like a 48. This is not a problem if you were wearing it over a suit coat. After steaming and brushing the wrinkles out, this could easily pass for a $300 or $400 coat. The proportions are correct, the sleeve length is normal, my only real complaint is that there is no interior pocket. Planning on ordering another one in Gray! ... show more

I ordered this Amazon Essentials (Demi's Pick) Men's Relaxed-Fit Double Breasted Wool Blend Longline Topcoat in a large for my husband. It says Japanese XL in the label, but all he saw was XL and by the fit, thought he had received the wrong size. It has a pretty boxy cut and the large does seem very large. I just looked back at the listing and actually, the model seems to be swimming a bit in the coat too. The sleeves are long and the shoulders seem to go past his shoulders. So, maybe the "relaxed fit" is more like a sweat pants version of a topcoat ... kind of too big all around. In any case, it looks oversized and a bit messy on my husband - as if he is wearing someone else's suit jacket at a restaurant because the dress code requires one and he forgot his at home. The cut is square or boxy and he felt the material looked cheap. I actually liked the way it looked, and thought maybe the medium would have worked, but he didn't like it. The color, we ordered the grey, is as indicated in the listing. The coat is relatively lightweight. It would work for a spring or fall day but it certainly isn't going to be warm enough for winter.
