We are not oversized people, my husband sat in it for the first time and the legs that are glued together came apart and broke right under him. Luckily he grabbed the island he was sitting at or he would’ve gotten hurt. We sent it back for a replacement, which we got another b/c we do love the look and it was just what we wanted. UPDATE - I loved these stools so much that I decided to order 5 of the cream-colored stools for my kitchen. Well, well, well. What can I say about my experience? It was a tale of triumph and tragedy, of laughter and tears, of two stools and three missing in action. I ordered the stools on July 11th, excited to finally have a place to sit in my kitchen. The delivery date was set for July 20th, and I eagerly awaited the arrival of my five new seats. On the morning of July 20th, I checked my doorstep for the delivery of my barstools. Two of them were there, gleaming in the sunlight, but the other three were nowhere to be found. I checked my Amazon orders and saw that no ship date had been updated for the remaining stools. I called customer service, hoping for some answers, but to no avail. Days turned into weeks, and still no sign of those missing barstools. I made the sad decision to return the two stools I had in my possession, as a family of five can't exactly dine on just two seats. It was a tough pill to swallow, but I had to laugh at the absurdity of it all. I mean, who knew that ordering barstools could be such a rollercoaster ride? In the end, I may not have my dream kitchen seating situation, but hey, at least I got a good workout lifting those two stools back into the box and dragging them to my front porch. So, if you're looking for a wild ride, go ahead and order some barstools on Amazon. You never know what kind of adventure you might get yourself into! ORIGINAL REVIEW - I absolutely loved the bar stools I ordered from Amazon! They are incredibly sturdy and comfortable, even for my 6'4" son. Although there was some variation in color in the faux leather, it didn't bother me. However, one of the stools was missing a plastic floor glide and there was a nail embedded in the wood leg where the glide should have been located. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until after the nail had scratched my wood floor. Overall, the stools are great, but I was disappointed with the missing floor glide and the damage caused by the nail. ... show more

Love these stools. I ordered 4 and one of the legs was scratched up. I called amazon and they had it picked up the next day and 3 days later i had a replacement. They are assembled too!!! Very sturdy and easy to wipe. Swivel isn’t easy but I bought for grandkids so Im fine with that

After months of shopping, buying and returning various bartools, I finally came across these on sale. The price was unbeatable, so I pulled the trigger and bought two (they are sold singularly). These barstools are THE BEST! Our family isn't large, but every stool we tried had such a narrow seat our thighs hung off the sides. These stools have ample seat room. They are also insanely comfy - memory foam seats and back rest...Ive sat in them for hours so far, love them! They are also very sturdy - no wobbling, creaking, or cheap particle board here. A feature I particularly like is the cross beam on the legs (where you rest your feet) is reinforced with metal that matches the wood color. No shoes will be scuffing these chairs! Shipping and packaging were amazing - these stools come already assembled and are wrapped/packaged very securely! These look as good as on the website and are very comfortable! We have been searching for a reasonably priced quality stool for quite some time and are very happy with this purchase. Ordered one to test and quickly decided to get three more though the price had changed suddenly and almost doubled which was disappointing to say the least so waited a few days and price dropped again. I have been looking for a long time for counter height stools with a back and came across these. They are already assembled!! They arrived on time and boy were they packed well! I got the hemp color and they are beautiful. The swivel is an extra bonus and as others have said it’s kind of stiff, but I think the swivel is only to turn the stool to make it easier to get out of. I like the piece of metal on the front rung to protect the wood. These are very sturdy and well made and also comfortable. If you need counter height stools run and get these! Well worth the money!
