I've never been a fan of spending thousands of dollars on a couch. Which makes it a challenge to find something functional, comfortable, and affordable. Until now. This is a great little couch. Very comfortable to sit while watching a movie, or some YouTube. It surprised me that the couch arrived basically wrapped in a cardboard box (only the legs had to be attached). I paid for the extra delivery and setup, which came in handy in an apartment. The two guys brought the boxed couch right to me, extracted the couch from the box, attached the legs, and took all the packaging away with them. Well worth the extra cost. ... show more

The chair itself is beautiful and totally worth the price, but have some Xanax, wine, a blunt, whatever your vice is available while you’re putting the legs on! I’ve built dressers, desks, tables and other chairs with waaaaayyyyy less struggle and frustration than I had attaching the four legs to the chair. It took me over an hour because of how awkwardly difficult it was. ... show more

This chair is beautiful and looks even better than the photo. It was delivered earlier than expected and was expertly packaged. Assembly (putting on the 4 legs) took just a few minutes. It’s a tad deeper than I thought but a cute little pillow will add support. A perfect addition to our living room.

    • Very nice couch, but is it leather?
This couch would be getting a solid four-star (almost five-star) review if it were not for the fact that the center leg's screw was not properly attached, or glued into the hole, and I had to epoxy the part myself before we could even put the couch's legs on. I expect more from a couch of this quality and price-point (current almost $1100). That being said I really do love the style and quality of this leather couch. I do not know, however, if it is real leather or not. A listing for the same color in a different style by the same brand suggested it was fake leather instead. This couch does not feel quite as icy-cold as other real leather furniture that I have sat on in the past. So I am guessing that it may not be real leather. Despite that, it feels and looks like leather to me though doesn't quite smell as strongly as most real leather often does. The seat is moderately firm and does not angle forward or backward so it gives a very nice comfortable support for both sitting and laying down. I do kind of wish that the arms were either taller or wider though as I have a tendency to lean on the armrests and on this couch I have to have pillows for support on the arms. Putting it together, *would* have been very easy if the center support leg had been correctly drilled for its screw as it is otherwise only a matter of bolting on the legs with the provided screws, washers, and hex key, ... show more
