This thing is far better than I imagined! I read reviews and didn’t see this info, so I’m gonna share. This is well built. The lids, in particular, are well planned. When I was unpacking it, one of the kids seemed loose and I was annoyed, but I kept going. It turns out the lids are designed to unlock from the base. They have a little latch that pops into the back, but then you also have to slide the lock to secure it. When you are serving to guests, this makes the lid easy to left up and serve. You don’t need to look for a place for the lid to rest. It’s all attached and easy to use. Also worth noting; the front also latches if you want it to. I used this for three warm dips at a dinner party. A hot sausage dip, an artichoke dip, and a corn dip. I ended up preparing the dips on the stove the night before. I put them in each compartment and stored them overnight in my fridge. The next day I just had to put the compartments in the base and warm them up. Very convenient. I stopped to stir occasionally so it would warm evenly, but it was basically effortless. I think this could also work well for a taco bar (meat, rice, beans). When the party ended, the compartments were super easy to clean. The lids came off and the metal area was a breeze to clean. The biggest praise was from my husband who loves rolling his eyes when I buy another kitchen gadget. He loved this thing! He admitted it right after the party that it was “pretty cool,” which is high praise from a man of few words. In summary, it’s easy to clean, and well designed. Definitely worth the money. If you’re on the fence, I hope this helps. I absolutely love this!

This was amazing for holiday hosting with family this year. It made it so I could cook some items earlier in the day and keep warm to free up some burners on the stove. Kept the stress down, and even allowed me to get ahead of the dishes while cooking since it wasn’t a mad dash to get everyone fed. Absolutely would recommend, and watching for them to come back in stock to pick up another one. Love that these can be on different temps, and the lids that lock were awesome for putting things in the fridge later without worrying about spills. I will say they are lighter than I was expecting, these aren’t the heavy duty ones that I’m used to on a traditional crock pot. Overall, still worth it and would absolutely recommend.

It was a Christmas gift. My mother opened it early to use it for Christmas dinner and just fell in love with it. She was able to use it for dressing, beans and sweet potatoes on her countertop letting her prep other things without worry. It was also a misplaced delivery, my first ever with Amazon. I hated that it was not delivered, misdelivered, or stolen but Amazon made it right in 24-hours! I still hope that if it was stolen the thieves have a change of heart and return it. But while most people are honest, a few are not. I'm the kind that takes an item back if I find it was not on the sales receipt, and I give the clerk a few cents change back if they give me too much. Amazon is my store of choice, and this customer service is one of the reasons.

I love love love this!! We do concession for my daughter's Volleyball and this is perfect for it and I love how the lids stay up on it. Easy to take off for cleaning. I can fit 4 to 5 lbs of ground beef in one. Great buy!! So convenient

I'm not sure why I waited to long to get one of these, but if you're on the fence, GET THIS ONE!! It worked out so well for my daughter's birthday party where we were able to have multiple dips and such in them without hauling multiple large crockpots. I also loved how each has their own setting so some could still be on low cooking while others could be on warm! The fact that the lids are able to stay open by themselves and you don't have to worry about taking them on and finding somewhere to set down is also super nice! Cleaning wise - these are an absolute BREEZE!! so easy to clean, which made getting this that much more worth it! Super happy with this purchase. I can see it being used for many future gatherings and events!

I read the reviews and ignored the bad ones. Don’t waste your money on this, the coating of the crocks is absolutely terrible and starting coming apart after the first wash. It almost looks like food, but it’s actually the coating and whatever chemicals are underneath it. This is absolutely NOT safe for your food. Not only is the coating peeling off, but the closing mechanisms and screws that hold the lids on are terrible. I could barely get them to lock if I even could, and the lids fall sideways when you open it. Tried tightening it with a screwdriver but it literally didn’t work. Horrible product, really disappointed.
