The first set I got, one of the seals would not seat itself and popped the entire filter off. Nothing I would do could prevent it. I looked it over and other than being a little "floppy/sloppy) in there, I couldn't see really why it wouldn't stay. I took the rubber gasket/seal off and voila, it worked. Amazon did send me replacements but I haven't tried them yet since the first ones are working ok. ... show more

This product does NOT work. It would not filter any water after several tries, and ended up breaking my water valve which cost over $250 to replace. This cheaper option is not worth the few dollars in savings compared to buying a filter from the manufacturer.
