Water at campground has a high silt content. Installation was a breeze, purchased a couple of hose connectors and a white water hose to hook up to the camper, took less than 5 minutes. Water immediately tasted better and odors were gone. Highly recommend.

We live on a boat and maybe have some unique challenges. At first like many reviews I thought this was a great filter for my boat, but after a week I was not impressed. We had a cullengan filter we replaced and wish we hadn't. The filter was completely plugged after 7 days. We hand tighten all the filter housings and when we went to replace the sediment filter couldn't remove the housing. It took us over 30 minutes to get it lose, we ended up breaking a piece off the housing. We had to use a huge strap wrench to get it off. I wouldn't recommend this filter just because of how had it was to remove the filter housing even though we started with it hand tight. Yes we relieved the pressure before trying. ... show more

Easy to install. Water was unfit to drink due to high iron and sediment. I flushed the system for 30 minutes. Water is clear, no odor. One of my best Amazon purchases.

Our water has high iron and some silt and odor we could not drink it. Now it is iron, silt and odor free and drinkable and no iron in my sinks. Very happy with it. I do hose off the first filter once a week.

This was very easy to install. My water is typically rusty even with a water softener system. This helped to clear up my water. The scent of the water has changed greatly too.

I added this to my rv and there's an obvious difference in taste. My main complaint is I'm not sure the fittings on it are actually npt. They're labeled npt but come with o rings. I went npt to flex so I had to use a quarter roll of tape to seal. I also wish I new what plastic it's made of so I know a lifespan that it needs to be replaced before it degrades. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After 6 weeks came in to find a puddle of water on the floor in garage. i had to bypass and will have to fix or replace as i'm not sure if the fitting is split or if it coming from the threads but it filled up a 5 gallon bucket over night! Use some pipe thread or plumbers pipe thread sealer! ... show more
