Much less expensive than the brand-name Vaseline and from what I can tell, it’s exactly the same. The packaging held up well for travel and I’ll buy again!

It’s nothing special. Just your basic jelly. I did notice this seems to be a tiny bit looser than the Vaseline brand but does the same job. And cheaper. Our daughter’s doctor recommended this for diaper changes. She kept getting rashes and we discovered it was the wipes. So we switched to water wipes. But they changed their wipes. Her doctor said to use this as a barrier on her butt. It works like a charm. I wish I knew this while nannying. If your baby has reactions on their face from food our doctor said to put this on her face before eating. It’s just a barrier. Plus it’s moisturizing. I have used this as lotion before.

After ordering the popular name brand version 3 times, and receiving unsealed, used and grainy batches, I'd given up on being able to find and use petroleum jelly anymore. But I saw this option and took a chance. I'm glad I did as it's not bad. It came in a shrink wrapped 3-pack but the individual jars also have no safety seal, which is odd. But each one is brand new and has the classic smell, without the bizarre grainy feel the name brand seems to have now. My sole complaint, aside from the lack of a seal, is that it's a bit thin once applied and doesn't last on the skin as long as petroleum jelly usually would. Living where the winters are very cold and very dry, using this on the skin has been a winter staple all my life so I know how long it should usually keep the skin protected and hydrated. This doesn't substitute for the old classic with a perfect likeness, but it's inexpensive, clean and close enough, I suppose.

I've been using it since a week. I apply it on my face and hands before going to sleep to help with the dry and flaky skin. It does help a lot. Also works great for chapped lips. Same consistency like the original vaseline product but as its a bit cheaper, I'd say the quality isn't exactly like vaseline. Has an almost unnoticeable smell.
