I've had trouble finding face cream that didn't sting my skin--even creams advertised with no scents and for sensitive skin. I have rosacea that feels like I am burning from the inside out, and many skin creams make that feel worse. The products from this company are consistently amazing. I've used their wonder balm as well--I generally love their products. For years I have used the face cream (mother of all creams) that had a light peppermint scent. It smelled amazing and NEVER left me feeling a sting or like I was wearing perfume. It was a lovely, light scent (I have a niece that cuddled into me after a shower and said how much she loved the way it smelled, best feedback ever!). Well, I accidentally ordered this variant, which has a mild, earthy smell. At first I worried that they changed the formulary. I tried the cream, it worked great, but without my favorite smell. I thought, "if it works, I can live with it." But someone from Puriya reached out to me about my purchase. On a whim I wrote back and asked about the change in scent. They replied so quickly, explained my mistake so nicely to me (I bought a slightly different variety), and offered to send me a complimentary jar of my preferred style. How kind! This is truly a lovely face cream, and when I use it my rosacea is well-controlled and my skin feels hydrated and soft. It absorbs quickly and leaves my face feeling protected but not coated. This is my absolute favorite moisturizer for hands and face. I’m extremely sensitive and have a lot of allergies to commonly used chemicals in cosmetics and personal products. I’ve been using the mildly earthy cream for about 4 years now, and the peppermint one for 7 years. While I use both on my face at times, this one is the best for my face. Puriya looks exactly like the pictures in real life and even has an extra suctioned plastic on it for security. The instructions are very clear, to try it on a small patch of skin before using it all over just in case you experience an adverse reaction. I did not have any negative reactions to the product. Quite the opposite, I loved the texture and creaminess of the product. It has a light, soft feeling when applying. It is not heavy and there is no oily residue left on the skin. It doesn't really have much of a smell, if anything very light. No perfumes. It helps with itchy skin. I love the colloidal oatmeal which is soothing and the shea butter, which locks in moisture. I've ordered this cream multiple times and will continue ordering it. It truly saved my skin. For the last couple years my skin would get extremely dry and itching, so itchy it would wake me up at night scratching my skin til it was raw. My skin would get so irritated I would wear long sleeve shirts to hide my irritated skin. I tried so many different creams and lotions that claimed to calm itchy dry skin but none of them worked. This cream actually worked and worked amazingly. My skin was soft, irritation, dryness went away, scent is mild with almost no scent at all. It's a bit pricey but it's truly worth it because it works when nothing else did. My skin is no longer dry and itchy. This cream calmed the itch, soothed my irritated skin. Update: Increased stars because the seller sticks by their satisfaction guarantee and is refunding me, which I appreciate. -- I may give it another try now that I am using a different product for the itch. Hopefully we can conquer this because eczema really takes a toll on your life. But I've resigned myself to the fact that no product will give itch relief and moisturize, they are two different battles. It doesn't stop the eczema itch, which is why I purchased it. I still have to add my shea butter oil mix on top bc the eczema skin will get immediately dry after (you know what I'm talking about). It's nice as a moisturizer before my oils, but this isn't doing anything for the itch. For the price, I expected more - not for it to take away the eczema but I expected that applying it twice a day would make it so there was no itching in between.
