The glass on these is very thin and brittle!! If you live in a mild climate these may be perfect for you, but my high floor apartment balcony was not a good match for the wind and these lights! Would also recommend unscrewing bulbs to mount the wiring to the proper formation.

I wasn't expecting these to last very long, but here we are three years later. They've lasted through 3 Colorado winters, along with 3 summers with 100 degree days. Would buy again.

Many light burned out within a couple hours of use. I should have returned as it came with a couple burned out but it came with extra bulbs so I made due.

I bought these to hang up on my ceiling to give my my room a lilโ€™ OOMPH! Iโ€™m so glad I did! They worked perfectly. The wire is thin like that of Christmas lights. I used the small, clear command strips used for hanging pictures and they worked perfectly. Be careful as the bulbs are made of glass. I did, quite easily, break a bulb. These were a tremendous value. My son uses them for decorative lighting in his apartment and says they really light up the place. Picture the old outdoor Christmas lights, the big ones, before everybody went to mini-lights. That'w these, but the bulb shapes are round and clear. The packing (warehouse deal) was light so one of the bulbs was broken, the only reason for the 4 stars. I ordered a replacement set anyway, just to have them. I bought one of these to test out first on my front porch which is rediculously long and loved it so I got another one and these light up my entire porch! They look wonderful hanging and I haven't had any issues with them at all. Also broke one bulb when hanging them by accident and all the other lights still worked which made me very happy cause I was afraid if one broke all of them would go out.
