We bought this rug for my son to use at college next to his shower. It washes well and is nice and thick and soft. It’s also absorbent. Since you can easily wash it in the washer, it doesn’t get stinky.

I use these to line my guinea pigs' cage. I have a 2x6 C&C cage with a 1x2 "kitchen" on one end. I use the Paw Inspired Critter Box liners on top of the coroplast and then use these bath mats on top of the liners. I use two of these bath mats to cover the 5x2 section outside the kitchen. They don't quite cover the whole 2 grid width but that works for me. These have good absorbency and seem to do a really good job of wicking the pee to the bottom of the mat, leaving the "noodles" on top dry and soft for my piggies' feet. They shake out fairly easily (I do that once a day) and change every 4-6 days. I vacuum and then wash in the washer with detergent and vinegar. I always hang to dry and they have held up well so far. I started out just buying a few and they worked so well I ended up buying more! Edit: I have washed these about 2-3 times per month for almost 2 years and they continue to do the job with no signs of wearing out. Excellent, cost-effective bedding. These are really pretty mats! Some people say they aren't non-slip but I disagree they stay in place really well. Very beautiful color too and a nice size. I just ordered two more.
