I can not speak more about this rug. The shedding is a pain, however I used my handheld vacuum wand and vacuumed the back side very thoroughly AND used a fabric shaver on the front. Doing both of those have eliminated white fluffy on my pants significantly. As for now (6hrs) post delivery I’m not seeing shedding. Regardless of the shredding, this rug warms up my hard floors and to me; provides a warm and inviting sitting area. I love the feel and thickness of this rug. I was going to use a rug pad, however, I ended up returning it as it didn’t seem necessary. Over all this rug was a total score not only by looks but by price as well. ... show more

It’s a really cute rug, and it serves its purpose. Although, it catches any little thing. Haven’t had it long and it’s already stained in an area. All I did was move my coffee table over it. So, just be aware and cautious. Overall it does look great and has some weight to it.

unique rug, beautiful off white color. super soft and really looks high quality / expensive. Only downside is it seems impossible to clean or even vacuum, so just know that going into it. This is only for super clean people, no shoes, no food, no mess

I thought I’d give the rug a year before writing a review. One year later, I still like the rug, but I don’t love it. I knew it would shed for a bit while it was still new, but it still clogs up my vacuum cleaner and leaves wool dust bunnies around the house. It’s showing signs of wear and tear, just looking fuzzy and worn, not fresh and crisp anymore. I uploaded a pic to my review so you can see the crumbs and fuzziness of the rug I get to look at daily, it’s a clear pic of a fuzzy rug. I personally don’t find it comfy to stand on barefoot, but my mother in law likes it. I put a half inch gorilla pad underneath it, so it does not shift at all on my hardwood floor. That being said, the rug is not a perfect rectangle and doesn’t line up exactly with my hardwood floor lines (for all you perfectionists out there!). My biggest pet peeve is how difficult it is to vacuum. I can vacuum it for 15 mins in every direction and it still doesn’t pick up all the debris that gets caught in the deep grooves. It constantly looks like I’ve gone 2 weeks without vacuuming. I’m always sucking up tiny lego pieces and Barbie shoes that the kids lose in the deep weave but the vacuum can find them. At the end of the day, I still like the rug, I just don’t love it. The color and the type of rug fit perfectly with my rustic 1880s farmhouse. For the price, it was worth it to find a 8x10 rug for $200. I’ll keep it until it really starts to bother me. I’m not actively looking for a new rug already, but casually browsing for ideas, if that makes sense. ... show more

This rug is a pretty braided wool rug, I got the 4' round and it added some textural appeal to my son's room makeover. It's soft to step on, not sure if it is stain resistant or easy to clean, but it's perfect for under his desk, however it sheds, like a lot. So be prepared to vaccum huge dust bunnies daily.
