This review is for the company that "warranties" the product. Tool was broken when it was received, sent back to the company for a refund and have received nothing. Been waiting for a couple months now.. No response from the company from any of the messages have tried to send. The tool is made of a steel body with all plastic gears inside, very poorly built and the table has lots of slack. not for any actual machining projects. The guide book that comes with it is very poorly translated into English and completely useless, unless you can read Chinese. ... show more

    • nice machine but ....
I have been a machinist for 25 years, I like the simplicity of this machine. it is easy to use but it did take time to trim it . ( even industrial machines do require a little work to make them accurate when they are new) you do need to bolt it down it is a little top heavy . I don't understand why it comes with end mills but no tool holder for them . ( you should never put end mills in a drill chuck you will bend a jaw when you mill) this machine is light duty , it will cut soft steal just take your time. I do recommend using carbide end mills because this machine likes RPM and has little torque . it is a true hobby mill not for work. yes I would recommend this for the hobbyist ... show more

Comes banded to a 2x4 loosely in a balsa wood crate with no foam to protect it. Several parts were damaged upon arrival and imbedded with chunks of wood. The spindle top housing was cracked but I rebonded that. The plastic z dial was busted off completely I'm guessing all this was due to the fact it was turned on end during transit. Leaving about 3/4" of a thread to attempt to find thin and strong enough nuts to sandwich lock the existing dial onto the guide screw from both ends.... Product description says, "High Speed Steel 6-piece 4 Flute with 3/8" Shank set Included". This was not included in the delivered product. Othewise, the machine appears very solid
