I bought this rolling stool to use with my vanity. It is so much easier to use while doing my hair. I can spin around and see the back of my hair without having to get up and adjust myself. I like that I can adjust the height and size while sitting on it.     • Best stool for people under 150 pounds
This is the only stool in this height range where the maximum weight is only 250 lbs. All the others have a maximum of 400 pounds. Problem is, the 400 max stools may not height adjust downwards if you are too light. I found that to be the case for one I returned. Amazon let me donate it to our hospital thrift shop because once assembled you can’t disassemble it to get it back in the box for a return. The heavy ladies at the thrift shop had no trouble sitting on it and getting it to adjust down (not a problem for adjusting up). I read the revies of 10 or more other 400-max stools. About 1 in 30 reported this problem if you were too light. Some reported the problem of the stool self-adjusting up once you were not sitting on them. The instructions packed with the 400-max stools say a minimum weight of 90 lbs. I am 30 pounds over that. A neighbor who is about 150 lbs could not get the 400-max to go down either. I do not know if this is a problem with all the 400-max stools are not, because I do not know how many light people bought the stools. Also, the seat is softer on this Amazon Basics stool. I find myself raising, lowering and scooting around a concrete floor on this stool. It is comfortable and stable. Just another point, I weigh 225lbs.

Easy to put together and really comfortable cushion. I slide off the seat often though, especially when trying to move around. My legs are short so it's hard to drag both the chair and me across the room.

been using it for two days. no issues. seems to work well. easy to follow instructions and assembly. from opening package to final assembly, just 15-20 minutes. seat adjusts from 20 to 25 inches high. nice cushion on seat. seems well built.
