We bought this chair for a home office for my wife after her old chair failed. Chair was very well packed and had minimal waste. The manual was all pictorial, but very easy to understand. I was able to assemble the chair in less than 15 minutes. It is very comfortable and the bonded leather feels nice, but here are a couple of details to consider: 1. The chair generally sits rather high, even when set low. 2. The armrests MUST be attached as they secure the seat back to the chair. 3. One of the armrest holding threads in the seat bottom was inserted at a slight angle. It didn't cause a problem with final assembly, but without caution a screw could be cross threaded. Likely a one off issue. 4. Arm rest screws attached to the seat bottom must be left loose until the seat back is installed. Otherwise the seat back is a very tough if impossible fit. I'd buy this again. I like the chair and my wife does as well!

DO NOT BUY! Product came scratched, missing parts and manual on how to put together, leather is ripped and arm rests are scratched. Parts that did come with it were bent. Almost as if someone just stuffed everything inside a box and sent it. Better off finding a different chair to purchase.

Amazon must hate this chair. That's the conclusion I've arrived at to explain the utter disdain and contempt with which the chair was packaged and shipped. I've seen boxes that have fallen off trucks on the motorway and yet were in better shape than what I received. Conveniently for them, the driver faced the worst side of the box -- the side that was ripped entirely open -- away from the camera and took the delivery photo using the three "better" sides that merely had bashes and gashes but were all still generally present. The wrapping for the arms was mismatched as if to emphasize the haste with which everything seems to have been thrown into the first box available so as to get rid of it as soon as possible. The threads for two of the back's bolts tended to back out of their holes and needed some coercing to cooperate. The allen wrench supplied for assembly is too long to assemble the bottom easily, because its handle clashes with the tension knob on the base. The length is handy when assembling the back. I initially suspected this was a conscious decision, but then I re-examined the packaging and now doubt there was any more profound intent behind any of the decisions made in shipping except to get the chair out of their sight. I didn't expect heirloom quality or something made in a clean room by NASA for the money. In fact, it's a decent chair. The packaging, shipping box, and delivery in general though were a calamity.

This chair has an appealing design and appealing features. However, the chair kit that was shipped to me by Amazon and that arrived here a few days ago is totally defective. The bolt hole spacing for mounting to the chair back on the rear of the chair arms are about 0.4" too far apart for the metal nuts embedded in the chair back, and so only one bolt on each side of the chair back can be insterted and tightened, leaving the chair entirely unusable. So, either the manufacturer included in the kit the wrong model/style of chair back, or the two chair arms were the wrong model/type. Or, alternatively, perhaps the factory simply made an error of about 0.4" in inserting/mounting the embedded metal nuts on each side of the chair back. I am currently working with the manufacturer's Customer Service reps (via their CS phone #) and Amazon in my attempts to get them to either send me the correct parts ASAP or to send me an entirely new chair ckit ASAP. This matter is very frustrating!

this is the second chair of this type that I have bought. It was fairly easy to assemble and I find it comfortable. I weigh 255 and the chair holds up well. I have read some people saying it's not a high back chair but I would disagree with that. It's not a recliner but it does lean back if you have the handle in the right place. The handle that lifts the chair or lets it down also slides in or out so you can either let the chair lean back or not. I think it is quite comfortable and I am at my desk a lot. I would recommend this chair

Wow! I paid $150 for this back in Feb. 24. 2021. I have no complaints. And I probably have about 8 hours a day in this. I am fatty at 5'10" 240 lbs also... No rips and no seams coming apart. The tilt can lock upright but my old chair also locked in a reclined position and I do miss that. Now that I have shared my satisfaction with this chair in this review after over 1 year of ownership Murphy's Law will probably break it tomorrow. 🫣

Initial impression: I believe this is my 2nd chair and 1st for myself. Assembly was simple and easy. I would suggest unpack it on a soft surface to avoid scratches. Assembly was easy. It took extra time for me as I had first put arms on wrong sides (watch out R and L indicators on the arms base). But once corrected, I was able to assemble it quickly. Putting bolt may require extra effort, but once you have a pattern, they are easy to screw. Cost wise it is ok. I got extended warranty on this chair for extra $20. Lets see how it works out in case it goes bad. Comfort wise, not the best chair and I am guessing may survive for a year or two. Lets see, as it is too early to tell. Only thing I hope is that it doesn't start squeaking soon.
