The product itself is quite nice! I had a bit of trouble with the pushing the top bars into place with my arthritis. It is very sturdy, well made, easy to store and has good ventilation and a pad for bottom of the crate. Corners are reinforced also. I found the size good but too big for my dogs so I had to return them. I bought two from Amazon wharehouse. One was in perfect condition. The other one came covered in dog hair (Ok I can clean that) but whoever bought it before me returned it with an about 1foot by 1 food hole in it that their dog obviously chewed it. I wrote about the damage on the box and added a note inside so hopefully this does not get shipped out again. This has nothing to do with the manufacturer or seller. It was whoever inspects returns at Amazon. Just wanted to add so others can be aware.

We have purchased two of these - the 36" and 26" for transporting our cats on longer car trips to the WSU vet hospital. I would first say that the quality of the carriers is exceptional, and nicer than other brands at twice the price. One of the vets at the hospital asked us about the carrier and said he was going to get the same one (26") for his small dog. Neither of our traveling cats are natural travelers, so we wanted room for them to be comfortable. We purchased the 36" carrier first, wanting maximum space for a bed, small litter box and food for comfy and complete travel needs. It is HUGE for one cat. Look carefully at the overall dimensions to see how big it is and the overall volume (also see photos for comparison). The 36" size is not easy to carry with a passenger, although the shoulder strap helps. Because it is a soft carrier, any creature bigger than about a 15lb cat will make it doubly difficult. Small suitcase style roller wheels would be a wonderful addition. We made a second purchase of the 26" carrier when we needed to transport 2 cats and weren't sure if they would enjoy the togetherness of many hours in the car. The 26" carrier has room for a small pet bed at the back and a bit of space left in front. Space for a pet bed made a big difference in travel comfort. It was easy to carry into the vets, taking center of gravity into account. It also has a pouch, sized smaller that the 36" carrier. Will add photo on update of this review. I have attached photos of the two carriers side by side to compare the volumes. Ten inches does not sound like a tremendous size difference, but the 36" carrier is probably double the volume of the 26" carrier. We have a mid-size SUV, and needed to drop the back seats to fit both. Sde by side, the two carriers filled the cargo space width. Which carrier did the cats prefer? Our alpha cat is not a great traveler, and does not like to see the scenery going by at 70mph, so he did not appreciate the great view through mesh panels on all four sides of the big carrier. (Or rumble strips on the road. Or my husband's driving, apparently.) On both trips, he began yowling very insistently at the scary view out the front and back, and we ending up throwing a dark cover over the sides and back so it was more like a safe, dark cat cave. This worked so well I plan on sewing a permanent four-sided cover that can travel in the zipper pouch (which, by the way, is also great for carrying food, harness, leash, and a bit of water, but must be flipped up to access the door easily). Our second cat was fine in the smaller carrier, and I have come to firmly believe that cats prefer smaller, safer cave-like spaces. We ended up in a hotel room with one of the cats for 4 nights pre- and post- surgery, and he regularly went inside the 26" carrier to sleep in his bed. It was also not hard to put him in there when he was a bit reluctant. The door is big enough that a cat can't do a giant 4-way leg spread extravaganza to resist being shoved inside. Both carriers are highly recommended for longer car trips and for times when you need to restrict your cats activity level for awhile. Just make sure to consider the comparative sizes. For our cats, I would not go smaller than 26" for longer car trips. We do have smaller under seat size carriers that we use for local vet trips - these might be overkill for that.

We have a large, 14 lb Ragdoll cat and most cat carriers are to crowded for him. This carrier is perfect. Great design and rugged inner framing. The exterior ballistic cloth and mesh panels are well attached. We like the pad included and also have room for his favorite plush sleeping pad. Great design as it it collapses to a small size for storage. Perfect for use in cars, but maybe too big for airplane travel (won't fit under seats). Would highly recommend!

Have one just like it so got another for other dog when we went camping. Unfortunately he ripped hole through mesh and that was the end of that crate. But overall great like how it folds down and can carry.

Review on arrival (will update after a few months) I'm very excited and impressed with the quality for the price so far, it feels very sturdy, the size scale to dog size is on point my, 7mo GS pup has plenty of space to move around, stand up, lay down. Easy setup! Took me less than 3min (and could probably take even less than that but I have long nails I didn't want to break π) I love that the bars that go across the back and the front are tension bars and snap into place. The seams and zippers are very smooth inside so chewing shouldn't be an issue. Inside is lined/sealed to be waterproof which is great in case of accidents or sickness. I got this with the intent to have a compact(ish) reliable kennel at the ready when I take my dog on a month long roadtrip that will involve camping, motel stays, and staying at friends places. So I'll update when I've put some work and miles on this thing π Oh and I love that it doesnt have a strong "new" smell like I saw in reviews for similar kennels. I didn't really notice any smell, still popped it up to air it out just in case cuz doggos have stronger sniffers than us. Update: my only complaint so far is the pad that comes with doesn't have a zipper to separate the liner from the pad to wash it. When it's been washed and dried and ready to go back in the kennel it's hard to flatten back out, imagine those cup liners they put in women's swimtops and sports bras but on a larger scale. It's not impossible just a pain in the butt and having a zip closure on the pad liner would make things Waayyy easier otherwise the kennel has held up very well, I've used it several times already, still happy with my purchase π

Absolutely perfect!! Loved it! Durable, easy to 'pop-up' and 'flatten'. Very large, but still fit in the back of a standard sized SUV while the crate was fully set up. Very nice!! Heavy duty but cozy. Plenty of room for an extra large dog bed plus plenty of space to add food & water bowls and still have room to navigate. This product really came in clutch and my pup was right at home in his 'portable casa'. Thank you!! :)

Have been using this crate for five weeks. Extremely Happy with it. Easy to put together. Pouches for storage Zippers while heavy duty are pretty easy to use. The thin floor mat is washable and did so nicely. There are straps on the top that are supposed to be for carrying the crate but they most helpful in positioning the crate to block the door. The black material really makes it dark inside like a pup Snug. I come home and let the pup out and you can tell sheβs been sleeping like a log. Well Done Amazon Thanks

Perfect for my anxious golden. She fell in love with this crate right away and made it her comfy den when traveling. Also love the pockets for organization. Super sturdy and easy to clean. Only downside is the mat which is unable to be thrown into the wash. I easily replaced it and use a king sized pillow cover now! Easy fix.
