I ordered this to bring our 8 week old German Shorthaired pointer home from the breeder, since I was going alone. I added a soft blanket and a couple of toys because I knew she might wake up after the hour drive to meet me. She did great on the hour and a half drive home, the kennel in the passenger seat next to me. She napped some and played some, so it was nice to have her contained and not exploring while I drove. She weighed 11.7 pounds when she came home. We are also using it as her night time sleeping crate, and she's doing well with it so far. I'm a little concerned it won't hold up to abuse as she grows, with her sharp teeth and claws, but she seems cozy in it once she settles. She has been home almost a week and sometimes goes in there on her own during the day, too. Edit at 10.5 weeks of age: she likes to chew on the zipper and support posts, but it has held up so far. I did put a washable pee pad on top of the pad that came in it, just in case. So far, she has not had an accident inside it. It is a little bulky to use as a carrier, but helps with car rides because she doesn’t like sitting still while I’m driving like she did the day she came home. She has room to grow yet; she is about 16 pounds. This was a great purchase for her. She sleeps in it well every night.

Bought this crate so my dog had a place to go when she was anxious and I love it. I got the largest size because she likes to be in the crate with her siblings sometimes and because I prefer she has some more room if I have to put her up for a few hours while I work. The crate is relatively easy to set up and the frame seems sturdy, though it can be a little stressful to get the clips on. I would not recommend this for dogs who are not crate trained or puppies, as I can see how a dog could easily tear through the mesh, but for crate trained dogs who just want an escape, this was an excellent purchase and I’ll likely buy another one that’s smaller for traveling.

I had been searching for a new pet carrier for my large Maine Coon cat. I had my eye on a 20-22inch priced at $75, after searching I tuned into the suggestions and glad I did because the Amazon Basic pet carriers are half the price foldable with multiple pockets & compartments for toys & food. It can also be secured in the car with the seatbelt. It also has a comfy fleece insert, my cat actually approved of it. All sizes are available and the locking mechanism to erect the carrier are super strong & easy to click in & out of place. G

We got this crate to take my dog who gets carsick very easily traveling with us. Everything is mesh or shaded, the top and front unzip, it comes with a removable pouch and an attached zipper pocket for storage which was perfect for food, treats, collapsible bowls and her motion sickness meds. The crate itself feels very sturdy and pops up/down with ease. She's a medium breed and the handles on this even made it possible to lift the crate with her in it from the car to the ground for her to get in and out without issue. It came with a little padded bottom too. And when the trip was done we folded it back up flat, it buckles closed, and it's in storage until the next trip. Thrilled with it

By the end of march 2023 it'll be 1 year that my cat's been using it and it's been a very resistant carrier. I miscalculated greatly how large my cat was compared to the carrier (based on an old plastic carrier which is around the same size but didn't seem to be that big for her), so I'm glad I got the "smallest" size (26"/ 66cm). She has plenty of room to roll over, play and sleep; so to her, this is her all in one (blue) box. I'm surprised the mesh has held on since my cat loves scratching the top of the thing, specially; but so far, no dent. Hopefully it'll last her for a long time. It's quite heavy tho, specially once my cat's inside. But I mostly only carry it when taking her to the vet and back home in my car, it's not so bad.

I have a 25 pound Mini Schnauzer and I wanted him to have plenty of room in the kennel so I went with the 36 inch size. It’s plenty big enough. At first glance it seems fairly sturdy and it set up quickly. My only concern is the 2 crossbars that you click into place to finish the frame of the kennel all depend on a plastic C shaped ends. Those C shaped ends clip over a metal bar. I feel like over time, this could easily break because it was tough getting them to clip into place. Overall I’m pleased but only time will tell.

Personally, I think Gus should be the poster dog for this crate..however..it’s amazing. Super easy assembly. Fluffy pad inside. Gus is around 37lbs and about 2- 2 1/2 feet long. He’s only 5 months old but this has plenty of room for him to grow into! I look forward to many trips with him and this crate!

I’ve got a hound dog with nails that are on the long side since he loves being dramatic when they get trimmed. But he’s had no luck after a month of clawing at the door to get out (got the crate since his begging at the table was getting out of control). Padding on the floor leaves something to be desired so definitely put a bed in - there’s plenty of room in the large model.
