I got the pillows with the covers based on reviews. I like to use one pillow for my head and I snuggle the other one. These pillows are perfect support for my head, but too fluffy to use as my snuggle pillow. I removed a bunch of the stuffing from one of the pillows and sewed it back up and left the cover off and it is perfect. Just a tip if you think they are too fluffy. Not a pillow, really, more like a soft trampoline. You put your head down and it sinks to the point where the pillow resists the weight of your head. And there you are. No adjustment possible, just persistent resistance to your head going any deeper as you sleep.
