Bought both this one and the Amazon Basics 1500W Ceramic Personal Heater with Adjustable Thermostat and this one is way better. Pros over the smaller personal heater * Not as loud, not quiet but the noise is bearable compared to the smaller one that is a lot louder * Rotating feature * Has a digital thermometer that you can set to a specific degree * Looks nice * Remote control * Larger surface area so spreads heat much better I read a review that stated the 28" doesn't turn off, blows cool air, when the set temperature is reached but this one turns off except if you have it on rotating, it will continue to rotate side to side. It does have a chemical smell when you first use it so I recommend using it first in a room you that you can open windows in to get rid of that smell but after a few hours mine no longer had that smell. At less than $54 this seems like a pretty good heater for the price. ... show more

I was wise and read through the reviews 1st. Ordered the heater and was very impressed. Everything was hot and it blew out hot heat very easily. The degrees were a lil different but I used it just fine. You'll need some 3A batteries for the remote. Great heater.

    • Oscillate never turns off

Heater works great, however if you turn on the oscillate, it doesn't turn off when the heater does. It continues to oscillate back in forth while no fan or heat is running. That seems really odd and not energy efficient.

I have seen reviews on this that indicate that it burns there plug receptacle. Heaters draw a lot of power so if you have a loose fitting plug it will arc and cause burns. A tight plug will not have this problem.

I like the well build heater and temperature control. Many units in the market just keep hearing but this one sense surrounding temperature and setting is in desired temperature. It is also well priced.

This heater does the job I bought it for. It is quiet and easy to use. The downfall? The on/off rocker switch in the back broke within 10 days of receipt. I am sad about this, but still like the unit.
