So because theyre spoiled brats I bought 2 of the water containers. Cats love it. And its cheaper to maintain rather than a fountain. Really nice quality, sturdy base so it won’t tip over easily. I like the cap that allows you to fill the bottle and then place it on the base without spilling all over. This is the second one I have purchased (one for the indoors and one for outside) they are super easy to clean and it holds enough water for 4 cats (outside cats, and several of the birds use it too) but it will last a full 7 days. Excellent find, and you can’t beat the price!… 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This water feeder does the job, but I was a bit disappointed with the size. Based on the description and images, I expected it to hold more water. It still works well for my needs, but I find myself refilling it more often than I’d like. Pros: ✅ Easy to set up and use ✅ Sturdy and well-made ✅ Water flows well without leaks Cons: ❌ Smaller capacity than expected ❌ Would be better for smaller pets or fewer animals If you don’t need a large water feeder, this is a solid choice. Used it barely a month n it already broke! There’s a spring to the bottle assembly that allows the water to flow w/gravity. On the third time to refill the water, upon removing the bottle from the tray, the spring, actually the whole mechanism!, flew apart! $20??? Not worth it!!

I really wanted to like these, really wanted them to work great. Especially for the price. But, you do get what you pay for. There are several problems with these feeders, that I know other purchasers have experienced. A few not a big deal. These being the design, where the food does not feed well into the bowl. The other, the valve on the water jug being rather cheap. It's easy for the cap and spring to pop off, while you're refilling it with water. Or, while you're trying to fit the filled bottle back into the base. The biggest problem is the very cheap, thin-gauge plastic they use on the water and food bottles. Your pets, dogs or cats, have to get used to eating and drinking out of a new style food and water bowl. And hey, dog and cats are dogs and cats. They're going to check it out, stand up on it, maybe even play with it. Your dogs, or cats, do not have to have the sharpest claws or sharpest teeth, to do the one thing you don't want... PUNCTURE the bottle in any way. Especially the water bottle. For the gravity system to work on the water bottle, it's not just the valve on the cap of it. For this system to work, without the water overflowing out of the bowl...the water bottle has to stay sealed. Meaning, it can't have any punctures from claw or teeth marks, to where air can get it in, meaning the water bottle is no longer sealed and air-tight. When you fill up the bottle, you may or may not notice a little water dripping from somewhere. You may think you leaked a little from your sink. But, if you put the bottle back in the base and walk away, you will later find the floor of your kitchen, living room, pantry, wherever you keep your pet's food and water bowl... completely flooded, as all of the water has drained out of the bottle, for no longer being sealed. I bought two sets of these for my dog. The first water bottle didn't last a week, before it developed a small enough hole, that water overflowed all over my kitchen floor. My dogs and their curiosity, punctured the water bottle. they also punctured the food bowl, but that's no issue, as it's only holding food. There's no air pressure that has to hold the food in. My second water bottle also sustained the smallest hole. Luckily, I had some glue onhand, specifically for plastic. And when I repaired the hole, water no long flowed all over my floor. It stayed in the bottle and the bowl, like it's supposed to. My dogs are not rowdy, their nails stay trimmed. So, it should not have been that easy for one of these cheap, plastic bottles to sustain a hole so quickly and easily. Hey, you could accidentally drop a fork, a knife, anything somewhat heavy with a sharp edge on the water bottle, and it will easily put a hole in it. It only has to be the tiniest hole for water to get in. And before you know it, you have water running all over your floor. Who remembers the gravity feeder, where you used an empty 2 liter bottle? Those worked great. You didn't need to have any kind of valve on the top, for them to work perfectly with no leaks. Reason being, they were made of a durable enough plastic, that they didn't develop holes so easily from your dogs or cats even remotely messing with them. If you haven't experienced this problem yet, then good for you. Was something I was certainly not expecting, even when I got these and set them up. I did so, as my dogs drink a lot of water and they always have food onhand, without having to come and pester me about it. But, give it time. Purely by accident, your water bottle could develop a hole. And you will find yourself cleaning up a messy, watery mess, that will require a lot of mopping and a bucket. If this company made both the food and water bottles out of a more durable plastic, like the 5-gallon water jugs that you buy...these would be some of the best, most durable feeders on the market. This isn't a problem they considered when manufacturing such a cheap product. And something you wouldn't expect to happen, until it actually does. Too late for a refund on these. I would accept a refund from the company. But, if they offered to send me another set...I would politely decline. Because, they would be sending me the same, cheap plastic bottles that they use. Same goes for other very similar gravity feeders out there. My recommendation: avoid at all costs.

Got this a few months ago and it works great for my two cats. One gallon size is the perfect size to keep them going for a while, even if I leave for a night or two. Worked great for a while, and I really liked how the cap to the jug came with a spring loaded stopper so you can turn it right side up to load it back into the base without spilling any water. However, after a few months, that spring loaded plug broke and was completely unfixable. So I had to throw the pieces away and now I have to load the base on upside down and flip it over trying not to spill any water. That works fine, but it's not ideal since the one of the main features that I bought it for was the no-spill feature. Still going to use it, but deducted two stars for the lack of quality.
