This is a solid, reliable cross-cut shredder with a smaller/medium-sized bin which is just PERFECT for home use or home office. I love the size, not so big you can't tuck it away under the desk. I didn't want a giant bulky shredder in my home office, and I think this one is great for personal use - I shred mail, bills, old files, etc. It's exactly what I wanted. It handles multiple pages at once easily. The cross-cut pieces are tiny so you know your records are safe. I love the window so you can see ahead of time when to empty it. The value and function on this is great. Highly recommend this one. TIP: drizzle some cooking oil on a piece of paper and run it through the shredder - keeps everything lubricated nicely!

This is a great little shredder that does the job just fine. No jams and the paper flows right through the blades- just be sure to follow the instructions and don't put more than 6 pages of paper at a time or shred for more than 3 minutes in a row. The automatic mode is perfect and only starts/stops when paper touches the blades. Also, I really like the safety feature that doesn't allow the shredder to turn on unless it is fully closed and resting snuggle on the bottom canister. My one gripe is that there could be better guards around the blades on the inner side of the shredder.

So far, I have been very pleased with this shredder. It’s pretty simple but does the job it’s intended for well and I appreciate that it can even handle staples and small paper clips. For my purposes, the cross-cut that this shredder does is adequate but do note that for a few dollars more there is another Amazon Basics shredder with “micro-cut” that shreds slightly smaller. I have not had any issues with it getting jammed, but it does have a “reverse” option in case it happens. Besides that, there are the “auto” or “forward” options for shredding. “Auto” keeps the shredder off until it senses material has been inserted and then it starts shredding until the slot is clear again. “Forward” just shreds continuously until you turn it off.

I haven’t used other shredders, so I have nothing to compare it to, but this shredder is noisy. I can certainly live with the noise for the short few seconds I’m shredding. This unit eats through paper and cards, dicing them up into small pieces. Extremely helpful as I live in a condo association and I don’t want anyone to pull my personal information out of the trash. The top handle to access the bin is a nice touch, as is the side window. I would definitely recommend this for the price.

This paper shredder is good at what is does. It is not as loud as some others I have tried, which I really like. I usually shred about 3 pages at a time and it shreds with no problem. I also shred a lot of post card type advertisements and they also shred very easily. I like that is black because it blends with my furniture. It has a display window so you can see how full it is and know when to empty it. I also like the handle feature to lift the top off. That makes it so much easier.

This shredder handles paper and credit cards without any trouble. It cuts documents into small pieces quickly, and the bin size is good for home use without needing to empty it too often. The machine isn’t too loud, and it’s simple to set up and operate. I also like that it doesn’t take up much space, so it fits easily by my desk. The cross-cut gives me peace of mind when tossing out papers with personal info. A solid shredder that makes daily cleanup and document disposal much easier.

This is a super simple shredder that seems to shred everything are larger does in the same amount of time. The compact size also means you can sit it just about anywhere or store it easily when it’s not in use. It has all of the basic settings of auto, forward, and reverse along with seeming to shred very quickly. The trash can section that holds the shredding has a window to be able to tell when you need to empty it. Overall this is a no frills shredder that just does it’s job while not taking up much space.

This shredder has been really convenient for handling my everyday paperwork. It’s compact enough to fit in a small space but still does the job well.
