  • Great little coffee maker
Size: 5-Cup Style: Non-Programmable - New Model
This coffee maker does not need the traditional filters it actually has a built-in filter. It’s very small so it would be good for a cup and a half of coffee maybe technically you can fill it up to the brim, but I don’t do that.- I would recommend this for a single household that wants a coffee maker- it was really inexpensive and so far I’ve had it for three days and it works great ... show more

  • Really great performance.
Size: 12-Cup Style: Programmable - New Model
OK, I'm gonna say right up front that I was not expecting much when I saw the price was below 34 bucks. We needed a new coffeemaker and I saw this at the very bottom of the units that were programmable. And Amazon has a great return policy so what the heck. To say I am astounded at how well this coffeemaker works is under-expressing myself. I DID do a bit of research and knew both good coffee and programmable were must-haves. But some units force you to drill down through menu after menu, making one button (and you) do the work of what should have been a one-touch command selection. Not this unit. Clear, large, one touch commands. Want to set the hour? There's an hour button. Minutes? Same. Program? Yep, just one. This is great. Sooooo simple to set up, program, and run. This thing has everything we needed at an unbelievable price. And it makes excellent coffee that was at the top of the 'must' list too. I cannot speak to longevity yet as we have only had ours a matter of days and not months or years, but it does EXACTLY what we need for now. ... show more

  • Great little coffee maker but not better than the original
This was very easy to set up. Take out of box, remove packing, plug in. It is very functional since it’s a coffee maker. Coffe stays hot. The pot and filter are easy to clean, rest of coffee maker not so much. Now, I had the original design for my first coffeemaker, and I have noticed a couple things since I received this. One, as someone else had stated, depends on the grind of coffee as to if you receive 3 cups or 5 cups one brewing. The fine or the ground, the less coffee in the pot and debatable if you try and add water to make an additional half pot. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. The coffee pot itself, I’m really not sure what they changed on the design unless it’s on the coffee maker, but I have noticed that depending on how you were holding it, depends on whether or not it poured straight or if it “leaks” from the pour spout. I’m not too sure about the redesign. It’s not as small as previous version, and at least with the old one, if I decided to pour a cup early, it stopped filling the pot. Not now. My fault, I saw it in the description, but I guess it didn’t register. Personally, I love Amazon Basics, but this was more of a miss than a hit. I had the original of this since 2019, and had to replace because the base stopped working; it no longer turned on ( because sometimes I’d forget to turn it off), so maybe I should have bought a new one of the old version. ... show more

  • A nice little coffee maker
Size: 5-Cup Style: Non-Programmable - New Model
This coffee maker came in handy when my Keurig was on the fritz. The permanent filter is quite easy to use, I haven't yet put it in the microwave, but it is supposed to be fine on the top rack. There are no bells and whistles with this, it's a straightforward electric Brewer. You measure the coffee in the carafe then pour it into the tank. Put the carafe back on the warmer, put whatever level of coffee you want in the permanent filter, and hit the start button. Roughly 4 minutes later you will have five six ounce cups of coffee. Since I use a mug I usually only get two out of it but that's all I need. The four minutes it takes is just perfect for using my air fryer to make four slices of toast, so everything is ready at the same time. ... show more

  • Works great
Size: 12-Cup Style: Programmable - New Model
We replaced our expensive coffee pot with this one. We based our purchase on the previous reviews, low price, and the look of it. Makes good coffee and fairly quickly. Not crazy about the cheap filter it comes with but overall we are pleased. No leakage, pours cleanly, buttons are easy to figure out. We never use the timers as we grind beans fresh for each pot. ... show more

  • Good and economical for light use
Size: 12-Cup Style: Non-Programmable - Conventional Design
We use a Bunn coffee maker in our home , but my hubby uses this model in his man cave for making breakfast there. It works a long while, then he tosses it and buys another. He likes it for light use for just himself.

  • Good, simple coffee maker BUT ....
Size: 12-Cup Style: Programmable - New Model
Can't say too much negative about it. It makes coffee ..... no bells and whistles. However, I am used to having a water reservoir on my coffee makers that you fill every other day or three and if I forget to add enough water for the amount of coffee I chose to make, they usually alarm, pause the brewing and tell me to add more water. Regrettably, I need that extravagant feature. With this coffee maker, you pour the amount of water in the bin to match the amount of ground coffee you put in the basket each time you make coffee. Unfortunately, I forgot to add water (due to my dependency on an intelligent device}, started the brewing (on an empty water bin) and went to walk the dog. Came back for that steaming brew of goodness and there was no coffee. I instantly understood what I did wrong and poured water in the bin to try again. Needless to say, the device must have burnt some circuitry since it wouldn't start up at all. Tried all sort of diagnostics on it and it still wouldn't work. I guess this is more of a review on my intelligence than the coffee maker itself. Just be aware that it requires water to work!! ... show more

  • Safety mechanism does does not shut the pot off after the it runs dry.
I love the little coffee maker. I’ve had it for years. It works great, heats the coffee up quickly, and gets it to a decent temperature. However the mechanism that is supposed to shut off if you boil down to a dry pot does not work. Terrifyingly I went out with my family for over five hours. Did not know that my daughter drank the last of the coffee and put the pot back on the burner, and never shut it off. So the pot was sitting on the scolding burner, and it continued to heat that empty pot for the full-time we were gone. Now, miraculously it didn’t overheat and the pot did not crack. Which I can’t believe. And it’s working perfectly fine the next day. But you might want to put a timer on it just in case because shutting it off after the pot goes dry is not working on this unit. ... show more
