I needed a fan to help circulate air in my basement to prevent mold from growing and this is my go to fan. It was easy to put together, the power levels are low, medium and high which fill my 1200 sqft basement easily, It's not overly loud but I like the sound, so it does not bother me. I highly recommend this fan. You can also use it outside on a nice hot and sunny day to cool you down.

Either bad luck or just crappy made items, this is the 2nd fan I have purchased and this one lasted less than 6 months before the motor shorted. I am so sick of purchasing supposedly good quality items that turn out to be just junk. Cheaply made, low quality parts, motors that just short or the windings open because they are made so cheaply. Yet you are charged overly inflated prices to turn that profit. It is a bad way to do business! I know positively they can build a simple floor fan that lasts. We have a fan that was purchased in the 1960's! IT STILL COOLS AND STILL RUNS! It was built when people gave a crap and they cared! Now it seems nobody cares! Sick of it.

This is a powerful fan that circulates and cools air indoors very quickly. In fact when we were having issues with our HVAC system not being able to maintain cool enough room temps during extreme heat waves this fan quickly cooled down even the larger rooms in our home. It does the job on the lowest setting (has 3 speeds) otherwise it is too noisy on higher settings indoors. Even the lowest setting generates some noise but when you live in the hot, humid South noise can be ignored for a while to cool down and be comfortable indoors. We used this fan just as much outdoors on our deck this past summer and it is awesome for circulating air and helping to make everyone feel cooler As an added bonus we found it helps to blow away small biting insects like mosquitos and gnats. We set it up near our grill when cooking outside and it provides welcome relief for whoever is acting as the grill chef. We set the speed on medium or high outside for maximum air flow. Some may find the noise this fan generates too much for their comfort even on low indoors, but we just set it far enough away from people having conversations and find it still works ok for us. Also, it is a large fan and takes up more room to store than a small tabletop version, but that, to us, is only a small concern since it works so effectively for our needs living in an area with a very hot and humid summertime climate.

It’s a good fan. But two things that I don’t like. One it’s super loud above what they claim because I got a portable a.c with the same decibels and it’s definitely not as loud as this fan. It’s probably really bad for your ears. Second for the price this is a cheap quality metal product. I had one in the past that i bought for $20 bucks and it was very durable and better metal quality. The positive is that it does blow good air.

There are three different air flows and works like wonder. It’s sturdy and for the price, you can’t beat it. Worth the money to me to have a great fan that blows air to the max on the highest setting.

My 20inch fan had gone out after a year and a half. Decided to go a little smaller. This fan puts out great air, and at lower setting is not horribly loud. Good price for what you get.
