Size: 52 inches
Fits my 2024 Countryman like a glove with no sound issues! Easy to install and so far works just as good as a name brand.

  • Excellent. Fits great on Oem Toyota Tacoma rack and Silent!
Size: 56 inches
The oem Toyota Tacoma rack is a huge disappointment. The wind noise of deployed crossbars is horribly loud, even under 50 mph. The crossbars are also too far apart for a cargo box and other accessories. It is basically useless. The Amazon Basics rack solves those problems. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The Amazon basics description says only fits up to 2.1 inch diameter bars and the Tacoma bars are substantially wider, so i was hesitant. I found that the Amazon bars fit much wider than 2.1", just slide the feet over the vehicle bars and then slide the crossbars through the Amazon feet. It wont work if you try to attach to vehicle with feet on the crossbars over vehicle crossbars exceeding 2.1". The rack took a little over an hour to fit everything, being overly cautious. Very impressed with the quality of the rack for such a low price. I did add some stainless self tapping scews to the ends of the crossbars to keep the plastic endcaps from falling off. And I wish it came in black, but I intend to coat with black herculiner to match my tracone and oem racks...so no biggie there. Some of the reviews said the bars were loud, but I just took it up to 70 mph and the bars are virtually silent. The reviewers who said these Amazon bars are loud must have messed up on the installation or something. At highway speed, there is only a very slight wind noise which is about equal to the hum of my all terrain tires. Now the Tacoma can have a Thule box on top of the cab. I do have quite a bit of expereince hauling gear on top of a rack and I would recommend very strong tie downs secured very well to both front and rear of vehicle if you plan to haul kayaks, canoes, ladders on the Amazon crossbars. Maybe even run long lashing straps through the vehicle interior for heavy kayaks and canoes. Those who are totally obsessed with accessories looking perfect probably wont be happy with permanent mounting of the Amazon crossbars on a Tacoma because the feet are oversized to accommodate much fatter bars. They do look a little funny with the gap above the oem bars, and the rack does not look very secure at first glance. However, the rack feels really strong when shaking the vehicle around. I think I will leave these on all the time once they are black to match the truck, but seems like they can be removed and thrown up there for ocassional use quite quickly and easily. ... show more

  • Decent for the $$
Size: 52 inches
Bought the 52 inch pair of crossbars for my 2005 Honda Odyssey. I have a similar set on my Nissan Armada so I knew these would work. If the the factory oem crossbars had cost less, I would have bought them instead. These Amazon Basic's were a solid compromise & earned my purchase since I found them for less $$. My van already had rails that ran front to back but it was missing the crossbars. I bought the van used so who knows why the crossbars weren't there. I forgot to ask the previous owner. Nevertheless, I had a long cargo box that I wanted to put on my van so the hunt for crossbars began. These Amazon Basic's were a contender along with 2 other oem crossbars. My final decision to buy these fell on the fact that these were half the cost of oem bars & that I already had a similar set on my Armada. Install was easy & went quickly with 2 people. The tools required came with the kit, including an allen wrench & lock keys. I knew from before that there would be gaps where the crossbars gripped the rails. You can't see the gaps in my pics because I filled them with foam seal strips. If I hadn't, the gaps would have made a whistling noise down when driving at freeway speeds. The height of the bars are a significant improvement over factory height. No chance of clearance issues. They were also solid enough to handle the weight from just about any load I would be putting in the cargo box. Couple of issues to watch out for as my son & I found out. It's possible to unscrew the clamp grip to far because the allen bolt is only "so long." And the part on the other end is a square nut sitting loose on the inside. The nut can fall out & may need more than 2 hands to get it back together. We had this happen but with patience & teamwork, we fixed it. The other issue is that there are wind gaps in the final fitment which account for some whistling wind noise in the vehicle cabin. To me, this was more than annoying. If I hadn't dealt with this when I installed the set on my Armada, I would still be researching a fix, hoping I could quite the noise. Thankfully, I don't like to give up easily on a plan. The compromise I made when I bought the Amazon Basic Crossbars was the right decision for me. Maybe it will be for you too. ... show more

  • Prevent End Cap Loss...use some small screws
Size: 52 inches
These roof rails are working great. If I pay close attention, I can hear some extra wind noise on my 2024 Subaru Ascent. However, when I stop thinking about it, I don't notice the noise anymore. I've gone through automatic car washes with brushes and had no problems with these coming loose or causing a problem. I noticed a few reviews mention that they lost end caps and can't get replacements. Thanks for the warning. I got some small self-tapping screws to lock in my end caps. See pics. I was also afraid of losing keys in my vat of spare keys. A 1/8" stamp kit from Harbor Freight fixed the "I don't know what this key goes to" problem. See pic. ... show more

  • Nah
Size: 52 inches
This rack sort of fits my 2007 Saturn Vue. I do not feel comfortable that the bar ends grip the rails well enough, so I'm not willing to trust it with my valuables. Also, I live in the northern climates where car washes are are 5-6 month/year reality. I'm not willing to take the rack off and put it back on, knowing there's little chance it would make it through a car wash unscathed. If I were to forget about it and go through a car wash, it would do damage to my Vue and possibly the car wash. It does not meet my quality and fit standards. ... show more

  • looks nice
Size: 52 inches
For my 2011 ford escape, had to make the slots for the top screw a bit longer on both ends on each cross-member. Easy-peasy with a hacksaw blade.
