I ordered the Amazon Basics 2-Pack LED Studio Lights with the adjustable tripods for filming art videos. This was my first time trying to handle lighting and setup on my own. I had been relying on someone else to produce my content before. These made it easy to start. Setup in my art studio was straightforward. The kit came with everything I needed. It was basically two screws and I was ready to go. The tripods feel stable, and they are not too bulky for me to move around by myself. The tripods are also easy to adjust, so I can change height and positioning quickly between shots. I also like that they are USB powered and lightweight. I can run them from a wall plug, power bank, desktop computer, or even a car charger, but the kit does not include a USB wall adapter. Using USB power also made it easy to take them outside and film at night on my deck while using an easel. A similar 2-pack style USB light set is described as plugging into a USB wall charger in an unboxing video, which matches my experience using USB power with these lights. The RGB modes are simple to cycle through, but I mostly use the regular lighting for consistent results. Overall, the lights look better than I expected for the price and the setup time.

I really like these studio lights. As a professional photographer I’ve gone through all of the evolutions of lighting, from the massive studio lights of the last, to ring lights and now to these smaller LED lights. This type of lighting is far superior and easier to use than any others. These are remarkably portable, and I love that they can provide lighting in many colors. The light units are about the size of a Kindle to give some perspective. The stands are solid and fold small to make portable. Note that to open the stands you have to push them open in the direction opposite of what you think, to spread the stand legs. The lights screw on easily and power with usb, making them able to work anywhere. The height is adjustable from about 24 inches to lover five feet. The stands are stable and as long as you don’t kick it the lamps stand upright. I am primarily using them to photograph clothing I sell on line and I find they are perfect. They don’t create a flair or ring as the ring lights did. I was sad when my ring lights broke but now have found a much better alternative. I actually use one now as accent lighting in my home as well, making a fun splash of pink in a dark corner. I am very happy with my choice and recommend for an advanced or novice photographer.

I bought this Amazon Basics lighting kit and it’s a great value. I honestly can’t believe how affordable this set is—it’s a very capable set of lights for the price point. You’re getting two lights with tripods, RGB capability, and adjustable color temperature for significantly less than most competing options. These work great for both video and photos. I’ve used them for product photography, video calls, and some YouTube content creation, and they’ve handled everything without issues. The adjustability gives you enough flexibility to dial in the lighting you need for different scenarios. The color temperature adjustment is nice. Being able to switch between warm, cool, and daylight settings makes it easy to match your lighting to the environment or create the mood you’re going for. The RGB modes are usable too—they’re fun for creative effects or accent lighting, though I don’t use them as often as the standard white light modes. I will say they’re not the most color accurate lights you can buy. If you’re doing professional color-critical work, you might notice the difference. But for the price, these are really hard to beat. The color rendering is perfectly acceptable for the vast majority of content creation, streaming, and photography needs. The simple controls are straightforward. No complicated menus or confusing button combinations—just intuitive adjustments that let you focus on your work instead of fighting with your gear. Highly Recommended

They do not come with a plug! You need to use an adapter and and extention cord. A little bit of a hassle but they are inexpensive.

These have been such an amazing addition to my setup. I got this light to take photos of my kids and pets. This light has been great to use and very easy to setup. I like that this light has tons of different color options and brightness options. It is also great that this set comes with its own stand which makes it very easy to setup quickly. The only thing I don't like is that its not battery powered, so I have to plug these lights into a battery pack or a wall USB outlet. I also like that the light puts out a good flood pattern. It's very nice that the light can tilt and move in all directions which helps get the cord glow on my photos.
