Easy to install. This worked fine the first three days, but now it won't light with the internal piezo device. I'm able to light it by hand using a lighter, but that's not what I paid for. Now I have to decide if it's worth uninstalling and returning, or just use a lighter. Added Feb 2024: I returned the faulty unit and got another. This one works much better! Revising my stars from 2 to 4. I didn't give 5 stars because I don't feel the warmth! I'm searching for a heat deflector now.

It works great but the table I wanted to place on has legs that meet in the center and thus no space for the tank. Used on another style of table and it is perfect!

The unit is quality made and simple to install and get going. After reading all the info on the table top heater you know you need a table with an umbrella hole to support the unit, and that was perfect for us. You really can't beat the price if this is for you.

I purchased this item at Christmas time, and since it was winter, I could not put it out. I saved it and opened it up and could not get it to light no matter what I did. It appears that the needle for the gas bottle was too short, and therefore it would not allow the gas bottle to put gas into, the fireplace pit. I called Amazon and spent over 45 minutes trying to get either a full refund or just a credit and ended up having to cut this thing which weighs over 27 pounds back to a UPS store and return it and then they charged me a restocking fee , I lost over $27 for this item and I had already purchased $35 worth of propane which is no longer useful nor is the cover that I paid $15 for. Be sure if you buy this item that you check it out immediately because it seems that the gas valve has a lot of issues and that’s why it’s been out of stock , I have spent a lot of money with Amazon over the last six years and I was astounded at their lack of ability to help me out. I will be more careful in the future, but be warned. You may not get what you pay for.

The item is small and does not dominate the table. It provides a good amount of heat and nice ambiance for a rectangular table. CON: The screws that were provided to attached the clamp to the bracket were the wrong size to hold the clamp. Also the bracket has a ridge and getting the clamp to fit inside it causes you to deform it slightly. This shouldn't have been and issue...
