  • Best 2 in 1 piece of furniture
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Bench
Very sturdy and great quality. Perfect addition to my kids room. Wipes clean easily. Love the functionality and how easy it is to convert to bench or table. It is a perfect fit for my 6yr old.

  • We love this desk/bench!
Color: Bianca White Pattern Name: Bench
I bought a pair of these a little over a year ago for my big kids (now 7 and 4) because they kept arguing over space at the little picnic table they had been sharing for snacks and activities. I came back today to look at ordering another one for my toddler. My kids use them literally every day, and my oldest is a very strong, active kid who believes everything in this house is a jungle gym. Still, after a year these things are in pretty good shape, except for minor scuffs where my kids slide the totes in and out (we switched the fabric totes out for hard plastic ones) and a few minor scratches and chips on the tabletop of the one that belongs to my oldest. They've held up against the antics of my son, so in my opinion, they are sturdy. They clean up pretty well, too. Paint, marker, crayon, food, and various spilled drinks, have all come off of them. There have been a couple times where I thought there would end up being a stain, but I did manage to get it out. As far as size, My 7 year old will probably be able to use his for a couple more years, but they're not so big that my 18 month old can't use them as well. When the cousins come over, we can easily have 2 kids eating at each desk. When in "bench mode" they have about the same footprint as a 2x2 cube shelf, so they really don't take up much space. The only issue we have had is that a bolt that serves as one of the hinges for the tabletop occasionally loosens and falls out on one of ours. It's been doing that since we got it, and it's never happened with the other bolts, so I'm certain it's the part that's defective. It's a minor annoyance, but otherwise these desks have been great. The only other thing is that the bottom isn't solid, so it can be challenging for the kids to slide totes in all the way because the totes, especially the fabric totes that came with it, get caught on the frame. It is worth noting, when the tabletop is up and the desk is in "bench mode", my toddler sometimes tries to use the back of the bench (the tabletop) to pull herself up onto the seat, and has almost toppled a couple times because it moved. If I remember correctly, there is a piece of hardware that secures the tabletop upright as the back of the bench, but we don't use it because we want the kids to be able to easily convert it themselves. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good
Color: Bianca White Pattern Name: Bench
Ordered this as a snack table. Initially, I wasn't sure about ordering it based on other reviews, but we needed something. This is budget friendly and looks good. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Pros: - Easy to assemble. It took me maybe 20 mins? It definitely needs 2 people to assemble the table top though. - Easy for our kid to get in and out of. - Matches our kitchen and fits PERFECTLY at the end of our island counter - Multi functional: bench and a table with storage Cons: - it's lightweight, which means it moves too easily on wood. I put it on top of a cut up yoga mat. It's holding for now. - In table mode, the legs don't seem very sturdy. - The storage cubby area does not have a backing so the boxes get pushed out. ... show more

  • Great addition
Color: Bianca White Pattern Name: Bench
My grandson loves this and it is a great addition for playing at or eating at in the desk form. The bench form makes it easy to put up and away when not needed. This is great for a smaller child.

  • Definitely glad I purchased this item
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Bench
I bought this for my 21 months old to eat on and to eventually learn on for homeschooling. Everything wipes off very easily after her meals. I didn't like the instruction manual mainly because I am visually impaired. It took longer than I hoped when putting it together because of such. Otherwise I love it. It seems quite durable; my daughter sat on the tabletop part and it held her just fine. It's really light so easy to move. It's made of wood so it's not super comfortable so I will be getting cushion for it but that's just my personal preference. My daughter doesn't seem to care about sitting on the seat. ... show more

  • Could be Better
Color: Bianca White Pattern Name: Bench
Well for the price I suppose it is a pretty good deal but it does have some room to improve. First of all it does get wobbly after being used a while and will need tightened up so keep that wrench in a spot you'll be able to relocate it! Another thing is the fabric baskets are flimsy and will get stretched out pretty easily so I would highly recommend investing in some plastic bins to fit in there if your kids are like mine and just pull on them to get them out. One thing that REALLY BUGS ME about this bench is that the area the baskets go into isn't solid so you kind of have to lift them up to get them to go the whole way in and it's really just the worst design for it because kids don't think like that, they'll just push them until they get caught on that piece and call it good enough OR they will continue to push and get frustrated when it doesn't go. Anyways, it's big enough for my 5 year old and 22 month old to sit together for a meal so I can't complain TOO much but if I could do it over again knowing what I know now I might not buy it again. ... show more

  • Great bench/desk for little ones. Recommended.
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Bench
Assembly was easy. Only needed a screwdriver. Good quality pieces/hardware. Sturdy and easy to convert from bench to desk and back. The fabric drawers fit coloring/activity books and sketch pads really well, which is what I wanted to use at least one of them for. Going to make a seat pad for my little one but he likes it just fine without one, as well. Probably would work for a kid up to 6 or 7 years old. Or even a couple of toddlers. Just wish the table part was a bit larger space, or wish it went straight across, instead of having a curve to it. But, overall a great value. And, yes, there are little knobs you need to screw in & reposition when converting it, but these are here to help prevent the child from moving it freely and potentially pinching little fingers. It takes a few seconds to unscrew and rescrew each time, so don't worry about this aspect unless you're a total crybaby. ... show more
