Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price and features. Coffee quality: It is always a benefit to have espresso beans ground right before you pull the shot. Functionality: It is pretty easy to use. The coffee results were quite good and the steam ones delivers a nice product. I did find the instruction booklet a little difficult to follow. Especially the descaling process. There are no details and exactly how to do that. It even suggest putting detergent into the machine rather than a descaling liquid. Build quality: I really do love the look of the machine. It seems to be very solid.. Ease of use: once you have the routine down, it is pretty easy to use. I do find I have a little trouble, knocking the used puck out of the Porta filter. I have to scrape it out with something. It doesn’t come out when you bang it on a knock box.

This is a great machine for the price. I honestly wasn't expecting much since it is moderately priced, and so dang cute! but I was so pleasantly surprised! I have owned several espresso machines, some of which were major brands and expensive, but didn't last long or have the features this one has. It works perfectly and for the beginner barista, it's almost fool proof. The majority of the machine is not made of metal, so I was worried about longevity but, I have had it for about 6 months and use it about 4-5 times a week, and so far, so good, it's still working like new. And did I mention IT'S SO CUTE!!

Great product, but we lost the manual and cannot get a new one. Amazon says it has project support but it does not. I cannot figure out how to reach the manufacturer, cannot ask any questions on it. Would be 5 star if I could get tech support.

The Pros with the machine: Good pressure for making a strong espresso and pushing strong stream to froth whole milk. Machine is attractive looking and comes in nice colors. The grinder is easily adjustable to get the size of the coffee grains needed for many different types of coffees. The Cons: lots of plastic that can break with regular use. Poor instruction manual. No website to seek further information and to facilitate repairs. Impossible to get replacement parts. Impossible to get service if any of the internal components break. This machine stopped heating the water for me after only 7 months. For those interested in owning an entry-level espresso machine, go with a name-brand machine that will last and can be easily repaired if anything goes wrong.

Very easy to use and it’s beautifully designed. I really wanted to like this base on the customer reviews. However, the espresso temperate fails to stay hot. I will make an espresso and within one or two minutes it’s almost completely cold. By the time I add sugar the espresso is already cold to touch. Definitely not hot enough for me. I did not plan on returning it; however, waking up to cold espressos every morning will definitely motivate that.
