These yellow sanding sugar crystals worked nicely for decorating — they added a lovely shimmer and stuck well to frosted cookies and cupcakes. The sugar grains are small and fine, so they create a subtle sparkle without overwhelming the design. That said, I was hoping for a slightly deeper yellow. The color is a bit on the pale side, which makes them less noticeable on lighter frostings or doughs. For a more vibrant look, especially on baked goods, a richer pigment would have made a big difference. Still, the quality was good and the crystals were even and not clumpy. I’d probably try another color next time for more contrast, but if you’re going for a softer look, these do the job!
