Wow, this headlamp is bright! I wanted a very bright headlamp, but this blew my expectations out of the water! Like many other reviews have stated and shown, this light rivals car headlights, and is definitely brighter than some (though is probably similar brightness to HID projector headlights). Though it much heavier than any other headlamp I've used, it's a trade off for the large battery pack, big lens and LED, and brightness. Even so, it feels very secure on my head thanks to the top strap, and all straps are very adjustable and feel secure on my head. I wouldn't recommend this for jogging or any activity where you need to move your head a lot, as the weight might make it distracting or even risk it falling off, but this is perfect for working in the dark, taking my dog for a walk, etc. ... show more

The light works great. I mow at a golf course and often cut in the dark. It lights the way better than headlights. The piece that the light is attached to Is not as durable as the original light I had, which still works great and has taken a beating! Wow, I can't believe how bright this thing is. It has multiple modes (full brightness, half bright, and then 2 flashing modes). You can also focus the light. The head strap could be a bit more comfortable, but works just fine.
