High rise waist is only way these can be worn because otherwise the front lap area is very poofy. If worn lower on hips, these look like male pants with “extra room” in crotch groin region :( They are very soft material & sewn well though. I recommend washing before wearing as the new chemicals made my skin feel itchy. I would buy more if the front waistline was lower & not made to cover my belly button so they won’t be awkwardly baggy in front

These are so comfy. But if you don’t wear the waistband near your bellybutton, the crith haha down so low. I’ve actually stepped on it while trying to stand up when sitting on the floor, which I have to do often (usually while holding a child) at my job. So not safe.

I am 5’6” and weigh 225. Usually wear XL-XXL depending on if I want fitted or baggy. I got a 3x and they’re SMALL. I went off what other ladies were saying they got that were similar in size to me. So maybe the tag is wrong in mine? I’ll keep them as lounging pants, because they sort of look like pajama bottoms. They are very soft for sure, I have the same company’s booty shorts and they’re soft too. You have to wear them at the waist otherwise they do sag at the crotch and look weird. I noticed it says hand wash but I’ll probably just gentle cycle them and dry flat.

For these I definitely had to size up otherwise the thighs fit more like leggings. I also tried these in the cargo style and the side pockets actually had the benefit of making my thighs look smaller rather than bigger almost like it was a distraction. And the pattern you choose makes a huge difference in how they look. The camo print looked good, but the houndstooth and the plaid were super unflattering you could see everything. The blue medallion ones were all so cute. My favorite is the tan lace color. But with those it really depends a lot on how the pattern lands.
