  • Genuinely Love It
Size: 28lbs Capacity
THE GREAT: This little washer kicks ass! I was really shocked at how much it can handle. I got the version that can take on 18lbs of laundry with a 10lb capacity spinner, and several weeks' worth of laundry was cleaned and ready to use in a blink. The small hose for filling it is quite small, and though it worked beautifully, I prefer to use my showerhead to fill the tub faster. The 15-min max cycle agitates everything fine and is gentle enough to make me feel confident even for handwash-type items. The drain hose is quite short, but with a little creativity I was able to wiggle it in a way that it drains easily enough down a good drain (tested on the toilet, tub and sink. I prefer hooking it by the toilet as it'll drain on its own.) It's a lot more involved than your run-of-the-mill washer and dryer, but especially since I've been looking for more ways to be more active, I found it really fun. There is a bit of a learning curve, and the instruction manual isn't the clearest, but what I usually like to do is to fill the tub with the temperature of the water I want to the level needed for clothing, soak the clothing for a moment without over-crowding the already large tub, let it spin for the max 15 minutes. Then I let it drain, refill the tub with less water to rinse out the clothing, let it spin for about 5 minutes, and drain again. Finally, I'll move half the load into the spinner, let it go for up to 5 minutes (depending on how much it needs to drain), and let it finish. I've run over 10 wash/spin loads so far, many of them back-to-back, and all of them have been perfect in how clean they are. At this point in time, I have a clothesline, so I take out the spun clothing and let them dry outside. Probably will get a mini-dryer as things get colder, but for the time being, it really is a lot of fun, and is a good way to fill the time. Maybe I'm just weird for enjoying chores though. It is a bit expensive but extremely worth it. Eventually, it'll pay itself off compared to the several trips it takes to get to the laundromat nearby, and the hassle of getting coins every single time. THE BAD: There **ARE** some negative qualities to it, but they were minimal in comparison to my positive experience. If the spin dryer does not have a heavy amount of clothing on it, it will spin in a way that bumps against the inside frequently until it finds equilibrium. It can be a bit noisy at this point. There was a lot of trial and error to figure out exactly where and how I wanted to set up the machine. It may benefit from getting some form of a cart/wheels under it to make it easier to move around if there is not a set area for it to be, like at my home. The instruction manual isn't written in very clear English, but it really is as simple as plugging it in, hooking it to a water source, and getting the drain somewhere it won't fall off. One other negative thing is that the plug is not very long at all, be prepared to be somewhere with both a drain and an outlet within 3ft away at max. The machine also arrived covered in thin sheets of plastic that covered every inch, even under decorative elements and inside the machine in ways I'm still struggling to pry out of the cracks and crevices. I'm not sure why it would come in such a way, assembled so that you have to practically take apart some elements to get the plastic out. It does make a small mess with the water, so don't expect to be running it on the carpet. MISC: The washer came with a card that included a private email address to the vendor, who encourages you to contact them if there is ANYTHING wrong with the washer. While mine came without any real problems, it was extremely comforting to see how much they care about a large item being shipped over such a long distance. And if anything goes wrong with the product that's clearly an error of manufacturing or damage from shipment, that they'd be there to help. I love this little machine for saving my bacon, and the hassle of dragging my dirty underwear to a laundromat. Thank you to the makers for such a considerate item!!!! ... show more

  • Amazing Washing Machine, So far its worth every penny!
Size: 28lbs Capacity
I've had this product for about 2 weeks and wanted to wait to write this review so far it's been very good above my expectations and it came faster than expected. Living in an apartment with a family of 3 this has made my life easier and our clothes are way cleaner than any laundromat machine I've ever used. Good Buy so far! I will update with a video when I have time. Some tips that I recommend. 1- Place this in your tub & use a heavy duty extension cord if needed. If you have trouble lifting it you may want to try hooking it up to a water supply. For me I prefer the tub cause when it dries out I can store it in a closet and I like the exercise. 2- Use a handheld shower head to fill it. This will also make rinsing easier. I wash. place in spinner run the shower head over the clothes in the spinner and spin, throw it back in the washer with clean water and rinse and then back in the spinner a 2nd time. Sometimes repeating based on how dirty the garment is. draining will be straight in tub use a wire filter on your drain hole its a couple bucks at walmart and I use them on all my drains to prevent hair and gunk. 3- It came without a lint filter net that goes in the side of the washer to catch lint. I use fabric dryer sheets which makes it easier cause I can just dispose of them and it also helps the water wash softer. 4- make sure you use enough water , Your water needs to come above the clothes so it can agitate correctly. 5- I bought laundry bags that you can wash socks, underwear and bras in... It really isn't needed unless your washing small items especially just bras helps the hooks from getting caught. I have washed bras without and had no issues but I guess if I wash just bras they will be useful but not necessary. 6- A lot of people wonder if you can wash and spin at the same time . The answer is YES you can just make sure the middle button is NOT on drain keep it on standard or gentle . The machine will drain anything in the spinner without having to switch to drain. 7- Towels/ Sheets- No issues washing King set of sheets or 3-4 towels. For towels I use the buildings dryer but I have hang dried as well just not as fluffy which is to be expected. 8- Blankets/Comforters- Unless its a thin blanket or a throw blanket I recommend the laundromat for those. 9 -Small Rugs- I have washed my bath rugs, kitchen rug and door mat all separately and they come out as clean as new. ... show more

  • Powerful clean - Tip for delicates: use zip washing bags
Size: 14lbs Capacity
Wow. This machine is so great for so many reasons. You really get to control your washes. Even though there is some extra manual things one has to do, it is absolutely worth it. My favorite thing is that I can leave some stained clothes to soak for long periods of time and do several wash cycles. I’ve restored so many pieces of clothes this way. It’s just something much easier to do with a small machine versus a standard washer. The power is pretty robust and I was surprised about that and the spin does a really good job at wringing out the water. It’s better to use spin part with smaller increment of items and press down evenly to get it to work properly and efficiently. Some caveats: In an apartment with thin walls, the spin can be a bit noisy — sounds like those big back up energy generators. I don’t wash and spin after 10pm. I don’t want to be that neighbor — it’s just too loud. Heavy cotton items can be labor intensive to wash (I.e. standard towels, heavy cotton blazers, cotton jeans, etc). It’s not the machines fault. Those type of items just absorbs so much water. It means that you might have to wash one regular towel and maybe 1 or 2 hand towels only. And separately 2 jeans max. Or 2 cotton heavy blazers together in a one wash. It’s better to wash small increments for heavy weight fabric. Unless you get the biggest size machine. I got the smallest one. With the smallest machine I am able to wash 1 twin size duvet cover + 1 pillow case. Then I do the sheets, etc. it’s not a deal breaker for me because it gets the job done really well and I can hang dry for a day or so and it’s ready! It works in my small studio apartment. ... show more
