Let me start by saying I’m a carpenter by trade. Even though I don’t consider myself a painter, I paint what I repair; and my painting skills are with the best of them. I have a lot of very expensive brushes, so I’m not going to say these are Purdy quality, but for every day use, these are phenomenal. I will say they are very soft brushes, so if you are used to cutting free handed with no tape, you will need to practice with them a bit. Once you get the feel of them, clean cuts are as seamless as any pricey brush out there. Of the pack, I’ve only used one. They wash and reuse beautifully without frayed bristles or shedding, and they don’t leave brush strokes in decent quality paint. I’d buy these over and over again, and they allow me to save my expensive brushes for the times it really counts. ... show more

I used these brushes for four different paint jobs, including latex and water based stain, and have had excellent luck. The photos (attached) are after doing some extensive touch up on rough stucco. I was expecting to only get one or two uses from these, but have been happy with how well they have been holding up. They seem to work well for interior wall and exterior surfaces. The edges are soft for a smooth finish. They would be a little streaky for furniture or fine woodwork trim (I would also use an expensive brush for those type of applications). The bristle material seems a little different than other plastic brushes, and the one con I found is that the don't hold the paint as good, and maybe are more prone to dripping. ... show more

Bought the 2.5". 3 pack. I used these to trim my stucco home exterior walls. Excellent quality. only 2 or 3 bristles came out. I love the angle that helps to deliver paint at the edge. These cleaned-up easily and I can use them multiple times. The bristles are good quality...lots of bristles to hold paint. The handle is extra long and comfortable.
