i have issues that limit the use of my hands and have projects that obligate me too use rulers to cut material. i don’t have the strength or dexterity in my hands at my age and came up with various techniques to cut accurate straight lines. still, they involved a lot of prep work, so i tend to put those projects on hold until now. now i can hold the ruler in place and make the cuts without much effort. i may make some adjustments to the handle but i am very happy to receive this and i am pleased that the measurements start at the end. my projects are simple coptic bookbinding . thank you

The horizontal level is off. If you purchased this, check the level against a good one and return it if there is a problem. In my case, the bubble housing is not even fixed properly - you can easily move it with a finger. Have to say, this is one of the worst purchases I've made on Amazon
