At first glance this seemed like a good idea - a handle on a straight edge! Well, not so fast.... It's a good idea with a poor design. The ruler should be twice as wide, when one grabs the handle your fingers or knuckles overlap over the edge where the xacto blade runs. Not good! secondly, the aluminum is very slippery on the bottom. It needs a thin sheet of cork or rubber that is non-slip. Thirdly, All centimeters?? ...with two edges, how about inches on one edge!

i have issues that limit the use of my hands and have projects that obligate me too use rulers to cut material. i don’t have the strength or dexterity in my hands at my age and came up with various techniques to cut accurate straight lines. still, they involved a lot of prep work, so i tend to put those projects on hold until now. now i can hold the ruler in place and make the cuts without much effort. i may make some adjustments to the handle but i am very happy to receive this and i am pleased that the measurements start at the end. my projects are simple coptic bookbinding . thank you

NO INCHES. someone asked if it shows inches as well as centimeters. The response was, yes, it shows both centimeters and inches. Very disappointed, it does not show inches.
