I had to move a lot of small metal objects from the floor of an old garage, nuts& bolts, sockets, wrenches and a lot of other small items. I scooped them up, put them in a half a dozen buckets and I will sort them next winter, maybe. This was the right tool for the job.

I only gave it 4 stars because it hasn't snowed yet. So far, it's a nice sturdy shovel that's light enough in weight for me to handle (117 lbs 5'3"). Handle is nice and comfortable as well, I'll let you know how it does once we get snow, and we shall!

Its a little bit shorter than expected, but not so short i anticipate having issues shoveling. I purchased this because i've had countless cheap plastic shovels break when i use my foot to try and get through the compacted almost-ice snow on a walkway. While it hasn't snowed yet, i did a few tests and the shovel did not give when i put my weight on it. Add the nearly flat back (unless some previous ones that tried to be curved and ergonomic), and i should be abel to get up against the railings as well. Overall impressed with this and can't wait to use it this winter!
