This has been a big help. My husband falls frequently and is unable to get up. I cannot do it either so we would have to call Emergency Services. This chair lowers to about 2 inches above the floor and with his help I am able to get him on the seat. I buckle him in with the attached seat belt and then the chair lifts him. It has casters so one can roll the patient to wherever is necessary... bed, chair, etc. where he is able to scoot over to the desired location. It seems very heavy-duty, but there is a weight limit on it. I also caution that the patient has to be able to help scoot on to the lift chair if you are not able to lift him. Don't lose the charger... replacement is expensive and takes a while to be received. The chair is a bit heavy and there is some assembly so depending on your ability, you might need some help putting it together. Once it is assembled, you can roll it where it needs to go. Overall, I think this is a great product at a reasonable price. It pays for itself in a few times... no more calls to emts.

Chair seems very strong. I like that it has wheels and that it is light enough for me to pick up. It seems to be good value for the money. It does seem to have some plastic in its structure like the seat that the back is attached to but it seems to be very strong plastic. The chair seems to be well engineered and hopefully will last for many years to come.

Works as described but I didn't realize it would be so slow lifting and the chair back does not recline at all causing discomfort for my parents. I can't imagine a large person fitting on the chair but fits great for 5'10" 185 lb elderly people.

This chair is amazing. It works just as described. My disabled daughter has enjoyed a bath in the tub for the first time in over a year. I can’t say enough good about this chair!!

Good chair. It does what it's supposed to and that is lift someone from floor. However, I really wish there were small wheels (that can be locked) on it so that you could move that person to a different location after you have gotten up. It supports a lot of weight. It's well made.

This is an extremely well built lift chair. It's multiple uses, folding design and casters as well as wheels to transport are outstanding. Craftsmanship is spot on and fit and finish. This also can be used in tub or shower. This style was purchased so that I could have it in the back of my vehicle, if needed! It's well package for shipping. Having the option to use the casters is optional and another plus for this unit and my purchase decision.

This is a good compromise between steel lift chairs and the plastic ones. This is not light (I weighed it and it is 35 pounds), but the components seem very sturdy and too light usually isn't sturdy, even at this price point. I never believe the lifting weight specs on online purchases, but I'm sure this would take over 300 pounds easily. Perhaps even 500 pounds as specified, but I won't swear to that. Pt is much lighter than that. The controller is easy to use. The question is will the non replaceable, rechargeable batteries last and will the motor hold up over time? Only time will tell. The suction cups are pretty thin. If this is used in a bathtub I recommend a rubber mat be placed below it. The only nit I have so far is there is no way to store this upright without it rolling away. A stand or fold out struts would be a useful design change, otherwise you will need to store it flat. Although it is pricey, for this application skimping on price makes no sense to me. You want something you can trust to hold together, and this chair will definitely do that.

This chair came early and was easy to set up. It works as described. I only have one complaint….the electrical cord must have been coated with catnip because during the first night one cat decided to chew the cord into 3 pieces so I had to order another cord that will be stored in a container to keep it safe. I am happy that I purchased just knowing I can get off the floor and not crawl to stairs to climb down then turn around to get my feet on the floor….Thank you…it gives me a little more confidence that I can get up.
