This converter worked out very well during Christmas time can't wait to use it again next year it ran all my lights that I had on my truck which I have about 5200 bulbs on my truck for Christmas including a tree in the bed of the truck with your powered all that and more great product will recommend

    • Grossly over-rated power output.
I clipped this directly to the terminals of a fully charged car battery and it barely powered a 120 V AC 50W lamp with a dim light. When I tried to connect a low-wattage power tool, the tool barely moved. The connections to the battery were solid. This item definitely is NOT capable of powering several hundred watts of 120V AC, let alone the advertised 1000 watts. ... show more

Works well, but a bit confused on the supported wattage output. The product summary says it is 500 watts, but the bullet points and the documentation say it is 1000 watts. Just a typo in the summary I assume. Also, the documentation does not mention the Marine 12 VDC cigarette lighter port on the side. I assume this is a pass-through of the input 12 VDC power when you are using the only cigarette port on your vehicle to power the inverter. ... show more
