These are by far the best sounding subs I’ve ever owned. My old JL audio 12W 6’s didn’t put out as much bass as these do. Draw less power and sound far better. Super high quality. True 10” and fit perfect in a sealed box. Bet they’d do well in a ported or band pass, but I don’t have the room for that in the truck. These are perfect. No hum at low volume and sound great. High volume, they thump! I’ve not been able to clip these. Almost too loud, Lol! LOVE THEM! ... show more

These speakers straight up Boom! I cant believe the bass they put out. Clean bass, nice punch. I have a 4000w Rockville amp 5 channel, pushing these (2) Alpines, w/ capacitor, EQ, ported box at 1.21cf of airspace. I have been installing stereo systems for 10 years. These speakers are one of the best 10" I have seen at this price no doubt. I had them pushed by a Rockford 500w amp monoblock as well and well, just incredible. They handle some serious wattage. Using this in a 2.5 cu ft vented behind seat box and it really bangs. Everyone assumes i have more than a single 10" off 500 rms. Powering it with an MRP-500 alpine and its awesome. Great SQ and SPL for a single cab. No complaints.

Simply cannot beat the bass and sound quality for for the money. I have 2 of them running about 800w rms each and they hit insanely hard. Update- I’ve been feeding these things 800w rms each at 1ohm for almost 2 years and the won’t give up. They still hit hard hard.

    • 500W sealed in .75 foot box and it STILL bumps!
I’ve had 14 Alpine subs and this one has a long throw. Mine is down firing onto the carpet and I’ve had to raise it 4 times so use a ring. But this sub with 500W sounds amazing in the car, even with .75 foot sealed.
