I bought this just hoping it would help shovel some of the deeper snow out of my driveway. Boy was I surprised. This thing can shoot snow 20ft easily. It handled 12” deep snow with no issues. The 2.0 battery is good for about 12ft x20ft section (10-12” deep) before it wanes. The battery that came with the unit is made by SuperHandy. It’s a 20v 2.0 ah. So I went on to their page and bought a 20v 4.0ah battery for less than $50 and now I have enough juice to do my whole driveway and my neighbors! Highly advise getting a back up battery. They charge in a couple hours. Advice: if you have a gravel driveway (I have crushed basalt) it will take the snow down to it but if you feel it grab a bit back off about 1/2 inch. This bad boy WILL shoot rocks. And y’all don’t need busted home or car windows. I’m sure your neighbors would appreciate not having them too! ... show more

I finally got a chance to use this. I bought it towards the end of our winter season in 2022. The 2023 winter wasn’t that bad. I think I took care of the snow with an old broom. Anyway it’s perfect for the space I use it for, which is the back stoop and the driveway space leading to the cars and trash bins. ... show more

    • Best Gadget I’ve Ever Purchased
I do not own or have a desire to own an actual “grown up” snow blower. However, shoveling is way too much for me, due to health issues. I bought this at the end of last Winter on a great deal, and it has sat in the box since then. We had a huge storm this week, with 3-4 bouts of snow and this thing can handle anything. It went right through thick, wet slushy snow AND a round of the light, fluffy stuff. It cut down the pavement, even when the snow was 5-7” deep. It throws pretty darn far and did the job in less than 30 minutes. Battery has been fine. I ran it down once, but have a long, double-wide driveway, so I’m very impressed that I only had to hand scoop about the last 5 feet!     • Could be better
First of all, the instructions are pretty much worthless. It shows you a one-page exploded view of the assembled item and a rudimentary explanation of how the parts fit together. And it includes an "instruction" on how to assemble a part of it that is already assembled at the factory. Here's a hint: You may need a 5mm hex key to loosen a bolt. After about 10 minutes of trying to figure out how it goes together, I got it put together in about 5 minutes after realizing I needed the aforementioned hex key. I gave it 3 stars based on assembly since I won't have an opportunity to use it until we get our first snow. After that, I'll come back and revisit my review because I do believe that it will do well with light snowfall. ... show more

    • Awful - waste of money
This thing is terrible. It’s definitely not a snowblower, which I knew, but I figured it would at least be helpful and easier than a regular shovel. It’s completely worthless. Anything beyond like one inch of snow is too much for this shovel to handle, and the only snow it works with is the light fluffy snow. If it’s heavy, wet snow, it doesn’t work. Whenever it’s too much for it to handle, the shovel just shuts off. Additionally, the shovel is worthless when it comes to scraping the snow off the ground so there will always be a thin layer of snow stuck to the ground, which means you’ll need a regular shovel anyway. I ordered it last year after a small snow and then we didn’t get any snow the rest of the season, so now the return window is closed and I’m stuck with this piece of junk. Save your money, or spend a little extra and get a real snowblower. ... show more

    • A lovely light weight tool.
We haven't had any snow yet so I really can't say how good it is but, I am expecting it to be very good.

I was so looking forward to using this electric shovel, I did use it once on my deck, it worked "okay". We've had no snow so far so I have not had the change to try it on my driveway.

So far it’s great we just got it and just in time after the snowfall we just had. Easy to use easy to put together love that it’s cordless.
