Purchased amp, the amplifier works fine without bass knob plugged in, as soon as it's connected no matter the volume my headset is on even with radio muted it goes into protection mode. Requested a replacement and will write a second review once it arrives. Have 2 stars causes I've used alphasonik amp and speakers since 2002 when the first came out and their speakers and amplifier came with orange ear plugs. Even though their products aren't as good as they were back then it's still sounds pretty good. Update, new amp arrived and worked perfectly, this bass knob actually glows up blue which brings me to the conclusion the other knob was defective. I also noticed the amp was used or maybe returned cause unlike 4his amp the crossover settings wasn't all zeroed out. But the amp sounds ridiculous with the alphasonik venum series vsw812 subwoofer. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some serious bass. Would have updated to 5 ⭐ if BB it wasn't for the inconveniences of the first amplifier they shipped ... show more

I bought the NA2000D and the NA2000.4. Would be nice if there was a clip light on the amp or the bass knob. However, i guess you would have to upgrade from these budget series amps to the Alpha Series or the Mayhem Series. Alphasonik should specify that the 1, 2 and 4ohm ratings on these amps are peak/max power ratings and not rms ratings. Again, you would have go with the alpha or mayhem to actually get amps that put out at the rms ratings. These are ok for the beginner (which i am not), i just wanted to see how well these are if i did a budget build. ... show more
