  • BEST IN CLASS for 4 speakers at this Price Point.
Size: 2 Pairs 6"x8" Speakers
The price is on point for the quality of the speakers. They include cable leads with the package, but I didn't use those. I just bought the adapters for my truck. (adapters normally run 10.00 or less for a pair and plug into the OEM socket, no wiring!) I bought these to replace stock speakers on a F150 2012 due to the OEM speakers in the front being absolute garbage that break so fast you have to wonder if they cost $10.00. For the price I paid for these, and the sound they get, they are pretty good. The sound quality is not 300$ speaker quality. I don't use an amp and use the default head. For a stock sound system replacement, they were superb. There is a bit of sound distortion when you have very strong bass, but cmon, 4 speakers for under 80 bucks... get real, this is a steal. The issue with the Ford speakers is a lack of hermetic sealing, in my opinion, on the door. It seems humidity gets in and rots the speaker cloth or paper it felt like when I took it off. The material these are made of does not seem like one that would fall victim to this. Probably the truth is the ford OEM is made from the worst stuff they can get away with putting in there. Fits an F150 perfectly, HOWEVER, I had to mount them upside down in the front. This may be why some people don't think they fit their truck when they seem to have the same make and model. This does not affect the speaker's sound or anything in any way. I just found it curious. ... show more

  • Not bad 6.5" inch 3-way to replace stock door speakers by Alphasonic which is Polk Audio.
Size: 1 Pair 6.5" Speakers
I've always been a fan of Polk Audio so I thought I'd give these sub brand Alphasonic 6.5" inch speakers a try to replace my 2023 Kia Niro EV stock door speakers. The specs on these frequency speakers are phenomenal touting: 92 dB sensitivity, 28 Hz - 22,000 kHz, rivaling other ferrite magnet JBL, Infinity, DS18 and even Hertz. The watts aren't super great at 35w RMS each and 70w peak into 4 ohms. Advertising tries to make them sound bigger by adding the watts together, many speaker companies do this. Being this is what most stock audio systems produce I wasn't too worried about it, plus pair of these were so ridiculous cheap, I figured if they didn't sound good I'd just keep them or donate them and get better speakers. Couldn't be any worse than the stock speakers, it's amazing how cheap and low quality automakers go with their base stock audio, even in the year 2023 ! The new Niro stock speakers are junk. They do offer a premium package with Harmon Kardon + subwoofer but if you get a base model you get weak terrible speakers. There are six speakers in the Niro, two tweeters and two 6.5" inch woofers in the front doors, two 6" inch woofers in the back doors that can fit 6.5" inch with a bracket. The front doors need shallow mount or small magnets as the window glass encroaches into the speaker holes when rolled down. I originally bought Skar neodymium woofers for the front because you gain some volume with neodymium magnets and they tend to be more sensitive with a much smaller footprint than ferrite magnets to save on space. The Skars are also amazing for the price. FIRST INSTALL – I replaced the stock tweeters with Soundstream 1" inch, put the Skar neodymium woofers up front and also installed a powered subwoofer leaving the stock woofers in the back doors. Sound improvement over the stock audio was HUGE, also gained significant volume, more than enough for these old ears, just wish I had better DSP for tuning. Bypassing the 8" inch Kenwood sub definitely makes a massive difference, no matter what speakers you have in the doors a sub makes all the difference with low end, without one there's really no boom or thump. The sub I have isn't enough to rattle your windows, but it does add some low end vibrations. SECOND INSTALL - I later added a pair of Alphasonics to replace the rear door woofers. I will say the ferrite magnets are pretty small and was skeptical if they were true to the specs as most other quality woofers utilize much larger magnets and these are nearly the same small size as the stock woofers. Thought I'd install them in the back doors to make up for not having coaxials or 3-way. Difference was negligent as the rear speakers get less power from the stock amp and to hear them you have to change the balance so much you lose a lot of volume up front. So I switched the Alphasonics to the front despite already having nice tweeter separates installed and put the neodymiums in the rear hoping to gain a little volume with the higher output. Only made a slight difference and surprisingly the the 3-way Alphasonics did not sound too shrill or piercing in the high frequency bandwidth. So I've left the speakers this way for a few weeks now. The stock EQ is flat and I only have to use about 3/4 the volume on my sub versus 100% when it was running with wimpy muddy the stock door speakers. Overall I'm pretty satisfied as I'm not looking win any stereo competitions. The stock volume is plenty as I don't want to age my ears more than they already have. I may eventually replace the Alphasonics with Memphis Audio 6.5" neodymium at some point, but for now it's not really needed and the headroom and volume are a hundred times better than stock. Still not sure if the Alphasonics actually meet the specs, but they don't sound bad. Having dampening and doors with good airspace also makes a difference. ... show more

  • overall good quality
Size: 1 Pair 6"x9" Speakers
I installed in my 2023 Ram classic because 1 OEM door speaker went bad. Overall they are great and sound very crisp my only dislike is the combined bass output for these was nowhere near the stock speakers. I would recommend to someone if they were to add a subwoofer for the full audio effect.

  • Great value, they punch above their price point!
Size: 2 Pairs 6"x8" Speakers
Much better than the factory speakers. Installed in a 2001 F150 Lariat Super Crew. Speakers were a direct bolt in. They make adapters to go to the factory speaker connection, my truck had apparently had aftermarket speakers at some point, so I just hard wired them in. If you have basic electrical knowledge doing this is very easy. If you buy the pigtails, its even easier. These are being powered by the KS9701 head unit also found on Amazon. This head unit pushes these speakers pretty decently, im not sure if they would handle an amp or not, the head unit claims to be 250W I believe, the box for these speakers claims they can handle up to 350W and are 35W RMS. This is a great value for the money, they hit a lot better hz range than the factory speakers that were originally in the truck. Im still in the break in period with them, so not sure how long they will hold up, but they look and feel well made. Be careful installing, I made a mistake and hit the cone of one with my door panel, cracking the cone. This is not the fault of the speaker, its the fault of the installer. Doesn't seem to have affected the sound produced by the speaker at all, but I bought an extra pair just in case that crack does cause issues down the road. Very clear vocals from these, and a lot better bass over stock. ... show more

  • Poor customer support decent speakers
Size: 1 Pair 6.5" & 1 Pair 6"x9" Speakers C...
2006 Nissan Xterra. The front 6x9 speakers fit perfectly and sound great. The rear speakers are NOT a direct fit. But do work. Just be prepared to Jerry rig how you put them in. I did have to clip and solder the new speaker connectors but they do come with the wires you need. The wires are stuck in the Styrofoam in a very inconspicuous spot and you may have to look for them. I would have given a 4 star but they do not respond to emails or questions. Very poor support. You're on your own once the purchase is made. But over all they do sound good. ... show more
