I bought 70pints Alorair dehumidifier for my basement. My basement has moisture from outside water. My friend recommended me to purchase this brand. He said he bought exact same as mine in a couple months ago for his crawl space. This dehumidifier worked do effective. He said he got super wet crawling space and he tried use some of dehumidifier can’t reduce moisture. He used this machine about one week, he can see obvious change in his crawl space. When he told me that,I made decision to buy same dehumidifier. I really find this dehumidifier is easy to use and his it’s own drainage to expel water. I don’t need control it manually. I got one dehumidifier before this Alorair brand. I always to check the dehumidifier water if it got full of water or not. I have to dump by myself. The Alorair had own control and this dehumidifier is more compact than house hold dehumidifier. Even the price is a little higher but I think it worth this price. ... show more

Very sturdy design. Body is all metal and industrial grade. Easy to set up with straightforward hose connections and normal household power plug. The four buttons provide very easy control. Its pint rating is much higher than my previous Costco dehumidifier yet it draws lower power. Customer Support uses garbage AI and product documentation is lacking in details on what is the proper Air Filter for the unit. Pump also leaks if there is any elevation difference. Alorair pumps leaks, so Alorair and their pumps. I am outside of the 30 day return, but if I can do over, I would avoid this product with the pump. For the other aspect this unit is quiet and does it it's job. Just wished it did not leak and there is better customer support. ... show more

I have a pretty large basement, and this one is really helpful. I need to keep the basement really dry to make sure it doesn't grow mold. It is easy to set up. It has all the required components, such as tubes and electricity charger. It is also pretty lightweight and keeps the noise level pretty low. I think this price is pretty good value for money.
