  • Powerful Moisture Control for Large Spaces
Size: 190 Pints with Pump
I recently purchased the 190 Pints Commercial Dehumidifier with Pump, primarily for use in my basement, and overall, it has been a solid investment for moisture control. One of the standout features of this dehumidifier is its massive 190-pint daily moisture removal capacity, which is impressive for industrial and commercial-grade settings. It works exceptionally well in large spaces like the basement. In my case, it drastically reduced the humidity levels in a 3,000+ square foot area, making it much more comfortable and preventing mold growth. The built-in pump is a game-changer. You can direct the hose to a drain or outside without needing to empty a tank frequently. The pump works reliably and efficiently, which saves a ton of effort in maintenance. Its heavy-duty design is clearly made for industrial environments, and it feels sturdy. However, despite its weight, the portability is decent. The controls are straightforward and intuitive. You can easily set your desired humidity level, and the unit will automatically maintain it. The digital display is easy to read, even from a distance, and the unit has clear indicators for when maintenance is needed. I found the user manual to be clear, and setting up the continuous drainage with the pump was simple. Cons: Weight: While it is portable, it’s still quite heavy, so moving it up or down stairs can be challenging. Initial Setup: It’s large, and getting it set up, especially with the pump hose, may take a bit of time. But once it’s running, it’s fairly hands-off. ... show more

  • Very Nice: ISSUE / UPDATE 9/6/2024 (see below)
Size: 190 Pints with Pump
Compared to its size, this is a very surprisingly quiet machine. It is bigger than your typical dehumidifier, which is OK with me. As long as it is pulling out the water from the air. It has an automatic pump feature inside to get the excess water out when needed, and also the air filter is washable, easy to grab and access. Naturally, I let it sit for 24 hours during shipment, and that is key to making sure that the machine operates properly. Was very quick to assemble, and in less than 10 min, it was ready to go., This purchase just replaced a machine I bought here from Amazon, and the dehumidifier failed after about a year. Also it was only a 40 pint dehumidifier... After 24 hours, I set it up at 40%, and it started running…This one is a beast. Solid and pulled the water out and went from 58% humidity down to 40 in about six hours at most. The buttons on the top are very easy to read and extremely clear. Overall, it’s a great product. I just hope it lasts for a couple years like I’ve seen the other reviews. Came on time, very heavy box though by the way. It’s a two-man lift, or get a 2 wheeled dolly and secure it to wherever you’re planning to put this before assembly.. But after that, it has strong heavy duty wheels, so if you need to adjust or to maneuver to another space on the other side of the room or big building, it can most definitely be completed by one person. If it’s a large place, you may have to run out to the hardware store and get a longer hose than what comes with the assembly, especially if you’re constantly moving this unit from one place to another. (IE a school perhaps). But for residential use, this is staying in one place, with very limited movement, so the hose is perfect and ample enough to to from the unit to the sump well. In fact I had to cut the length given because it was too much and I had about 3-4 feet left of hose…(just something to think about) ***Update- 7/10/2024**** Running smoothly. Still pulling out the water and we have had a surprisingly wet summer. Hurricane Beryl hit Texas, and went straight up to through Central Illinois and up through Chicago and dumped about an inch of water on us. With the old dehumidifiers or the ones from the Big Box Stores, the would be struggling to keep the humidity down in the basement. Not this one. Holding at 40% humidity. Just got pinged through weatherbug on my phone 95% humidity outside. Inside though our walkout basement…still 40%. Very Happy with this purchase. ************************ {Update: 9/1/2024 - 9/6/2024} A couple days ago, I noticed that the house was getting humid. Dehumidifier was running, fan and display was on. After a few days, the dehumidifier was stopped, display showed pumping, but was filled with water. As I suspected, the internal pump failed. This happened over Labor Day weekend, so as we know, nobody is working. I went to the Moiswell website, sent an email, and I also emailed support directly. I have a few valuable things in the basement, and we back up to a lake, so humidity control is key. The humid, which I keep at 45% was up to 69% and climbing. We had humid and hot days, so I was getting very concerned…naturally… I received an email reply back the next morning which was on the Saturday of a 3 day holiday, which I was very happily surprised about. When I sent my request to be contacted, I wanted to get the conversation rolling along, so I snapped a few pictures l, and made a video so they could identify the problem quickly instead of going back and forth. Keep in mind, I asked for either the part, a technician to come out, or replace entirely… I received a reply back from Aya first off apologizing about the failure. She did not ask any further questions because of my detailed pictures, and video, and it was obvious that the small pump inside the unit had failed. (When it would pump, in the end of its cycle, it squeal very loud. It came like that and I thought it was typical. So if yours is squeaking at the end of its Pump and Dump, contact Moiswell, and they’ll ship you a replacement. (Via DHL) Aya was extremely courteous, understanding, and very professional. Took care of the problem quickly and promptly sent a replacement part out to me during this non-working holiday weekend. Additionally, I had been informed that an $80.00 credit would be sent to me for my problems. That was a nice touch, and I honestly loved this unit… wasn’t even broken in yet, and again, it looked brand new and out of the package still. I informed Aya, that the part was more important to me than the credit, and if she could expedite the shipment by using that credit to pay for the gas shipping (split the cost) it would be more than acceptable to me. (I have antique clocks, precious items that have low tolerances to humidity… stuff that CANNOT be interacting well with any dampness whatsoever) She understood, sent me the replacement, and kept up with me on the details of the shipment along with the “progress” from start to finish via email. Again, she was phenomenal. I replaced the part quickly, - 4 back screws, and I snapped a picture to make sure the two hoses, in to feeding and one to push out was correct. There is a screw to unscrew the rubber clamp that holds the small pump, and a quick connect for current…. Ok nice again. From start to finish- less than 5 -10 min to complete. OT is a new updated pump, (there was a defect in the original, and as soon as I put it in, I pushed the pump and bled the lines. Immediately after pushing the pump button on the display, the water came shooting out of tube. The pump was so much more quiet than the original as well. As of now, it’s running smoothly once again. Pulling the air in and kicking out the humidity like a champ. Went from 71% humidity and falling to 49% and still dropping. The pump replacement couldn’t come any faster because today is a 91% humidity day today. Aya and the people at Moiswell did a great job at getting me back up and running once again. Great Job and Thanks Again! ... show more

  • Solid, Sturdy, Capable. It's a Great Solution for Long-term Moisture Removal.
Size: 190 Pints with Pump
We are happy with the Moiswell 190 Pints Commercial Dehumidifier and the customer support by the vendor. Our basement is approximately 1500 sq ft and was finished by the previous owner - there was a dehumidifier by Quality 1st that worked until it didn't. Since then we had gone from machine to machine and none would dehumidify fast enough or last long enough. When we finally got the Moiswell, we were so excited - finally a machine powerful enough while affordable. Even though at 190 pints it's considered oversized for our basement, in reality, it effortlessly reached the target RH% level and was mostly on stand-by mode. So, we're saving more on power costs. The machine is built entirely in a metal case and gives me a very sturdy and solid feel. Installation was a breeze - just screw in the push handlebar and the drainage hose, and all systems are a go. Although heavy, the unit comes with four sets of wheels, so as long as you can lift it down to the basement with your spouse, you're good to go the rest of the way. Operation is easy. The control panel is clean and well-designed. You simply set the target RH% level and the unit pretty much pilots on its own. The pump will kick in when the 190-pint tank is full. The water will drain via a provided drainage hose and the flow can go upwards depending on your basement or window situation. Customer support over email is attentive. We had a couple of questions and received answers straight away. Would recommend the Moiswell to anyone who are shopping for a durable moisture removal unit. ... show more
