These helped me loose 100lbs in the past and I’m back for more after weight gain. This is not a miracle pill. What it does is it stops some of the fat in your food from being digested. That undigested fat comes out as oil in your stool. Your stools will be loose and if you have to pass gas, expect to pass some oil too. You have to be mindful of the clothes you wear and where you sit. But here’s the thing- when taking this pill as directed, before every meal, it will train you to make healthier choices because you will want to avoid having oily stool. This pill helps retrain your brain to make healthier choices. As you take the pill, you will want to avoid fatty foods so you can avoid the oily consequences. It sounds silly, but it works for me. I took this for about 3-4 months until I was able to make better decisions on my own. The timeline is different for everyone, you have to be committed to making genuine permanent changes in your lifestyle. But for me, this was a great jumpstart. After eating better for a few weeks and eating 1500 calories a day, I had more energy and incorporated walking, then running, and eventually loosing 100lbs. it all starts with baby steps in the right direction. If this pills makes you feel sick, don’t take it. I didn’t experience any side effects other than the oily stool.

I bought the 60 pack starter bottle to kick start a new phase of diet and exercise. I've done the diet and exercise thing many times before, the weight always comes back. I've tried diet pills before, they never work at all. I figured I'd give this stuff a go based on some positive reviews. Reader BEWARE - THIS. STUFF. WORKS. The good - This stuff WORKS. You cannot deny it. During the 22 days it took me to go through the first bottle, I lost 7 pounds. Now, as I said, I'm no stranger to diet and exercise. When I started taking the pills, I listened to the instructions. I worked out everyday during these 22 days, I followed a low fat and low calorie diet. I even did a juice cleanse for 2 days (during which I did not take the pills). I took my multivitamin every night. I probably would have lost 4 or 5 pounds without these pills during this time, but these pills definitely helped add a little extra something. You can literally SEE this stuff working (more on that below). At no point while taking this stuff did I have to run to the bathroom like some crazy emergency where I almost didn't make it. I had regular bowel movements, they were just.... offputting. The bad - this stuff works. You can literally see it. It will disgust you at first, there is no doubt about that. You will see blobs of fat/oil in the toilet. You will really want to avoid eating super fatty/oily foods while you are taking this stuff. The UGLY - this stuff REALLY works. Like, if you are in a relationship, or still have to go to work in person, you may want to think twice. Like I said above, I didn't have to run to the bathroom at any point while taking this stuff, but it leaves a nasty ring of oil in your toilet. You will likely go through a lot of toilet cleaner while on this product. If you are at work, or in a relationship, it's going to be hard to hide it. I basically have to clean my toilet every time I go to the bathroom. If you are out in public or at work, it's going to be even harder, since you won't have access to a toilet brush. the UGLY UGLY - at one point while on this product, I decided to help myself to some pepperoni pizza (it was cauliflower crust, tiny personal pizza, I figured what's the harm, the whole thing was 650 calories), after eating this pizza I had the urge to let out a little toot, so I did. Well...that little toot led to an oil stain in my underwear. Thank the man in the sky I was home and able to go change into some fresh undies. You've been warned. It WORKS.

It’s a non-prescription weight loss pill that claims to block some of the fat you eat, helping you lose weight faster when paired with a healthy diet. I decided to give it a shot and here’s my experience. *How It Works Alli uses Orlistat, which is supposed to stop your body from absorbing about 25% of the fat you eat. That fat is then, well... let’s just say it exits your body. The idea is that by absorbing less fat, you’ll lose weight faster than just dieting alone. *My Results I used Alli for a few months and saw some solid results. I was already trying to eat better and exercise more, and with Alli, I lost about 8-10 pounds over a few months. It wasn’t crazy fast, but it felt steady and healthy, which is what I wanted. It really helped me stay motivated because I could see a difference without having to go on an extreme diet. *The Side Effects Okay, so here’s where it gets real. The side effects can be... a bit awkward. For those looking to buy, let me WARN you. I saw the positive reviews and ignored the negative ones thinking that it was just a few bad apples. I was wrong. WARNING: The price tag is hefty on these pills, and also know that if you realize what happens on the first few days and you can't handle it, there is NO REFUND with medication on amazon. MY EXPERIENCE: Everyone will have a different experience when it comes to this medication, but most people that I have read have a common theme. What comes out the other end. Yes it smells, yes it hurts, for me it hurt like the worst blowout of my life times three. I was in gut wrenching pain. On my first day I took my first pill, as prescribed. I felt a little strange, but nothing to worry about, when I hit my second pill that's when the trouble started. I developed a migraine that set on fast. After the migraine I lost control of my bowels, my gut felt like it was stabbed and my vision blurred. My skin became pale and clamy and I could barely walk. I walked hunched over and eventually passed out. If I was conscious or had someone with me, I would have gone to the hospital. (TWO PILLS) that is all it took for me to be brought to a devastating point. I found out a couple days later from a family member that my cousin took the same pills months ago and she had to go to a hospital herself. So please be warned. FINAL: Please know that medical pills are not a weight loss guarantee, I learned the hard way there are significant side effects and the price tag of this does not help. I have no idea how they got 'FDA approval' as advertised, but I am shocked that it is pushed. Please, find a friend or family member and have them be a support partner who can help push you and drive you to go out and work out. Please do not be like me and use these in addition to exercise. I have been wanting to write this review since I took the medication to SAVE someone from the experience I went through. Please PLEASE do not buy these pills.

I’ve been using the alli starter pack for about three weeks now, and I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, it does seem to help with weight loss when combined with a low-fat diet. I’ve lost a few pounds without feeling jittery or suppressed appetite, which I appreciate. However, the side effects are real. The treatment effects (oily spotting, loose stools, and urgency) happen more often than I expected, even when I try to keep fat intake moderate. It’s also easy to forget taking a capsule with every main meal, and the 60-count pack didn’t last as long as I hoped. Overall, it works as advertised, but you really have to commit to a low-fat diet and be prepared for some unpleasant bathroom moments. For the price, it’s okay – but definitely not for everyone.

I agree with the other reviews. This product does work and it's the only one I can find that is FDA approved. As they have mentioned, if you eat too much fat, you will pay the price. Which is great in my opinion. I'm at home daily, so not an issue for me, like someone who has to walk to the bathroom. I am losing weight, because I quit drinking for a while. But, before I quit I was at least maintaining for the life I was leading!! Mexican outings, margaritas, beers, chips, along with a bite size candy bar before bed. And was able to keep it around <140ish. I haven't lost a lot on the scale, but the inches are falling off. My husband and I both take it religiously if we are going to be eating any kind of fats. I highly recommend this product if you are trying to lose or maintain a healthy weight and the price is reasonable for the results!! Easy to swallow and small pills!!

I’m 5’2 woman and weighed 181 lb before taking these. I been taking these for 6 days and lost 9 lb! No joke. And both times I weighed before drinking and eating breakfast and after I “empty” myself in the bathroom so that I get the true weight. I do 25 minutes of light aerobics or walk 3x a week. But let me tell you that I didn’t see the oils in my toilet until the 3rd day. But still feel gassy as other reviews have mentioned. At first I thought it wasn’t working even thought I ate some meals that has more than 20 grams of fat. So I thought I take 2 pills during meal which was mistake because I had large bbq ribs for lunch. I ended up using the bathroom about every hour with oils coming out my behind all afternoon and almost oops in my undies. Fortunately, I had pads as suggested by another reviewer. Next morning oil came pouring into the toilet. So I went back to taking just one pill since then and I still get the oils coming out but not as much and it’s more manageable since I take only 1 pill each meal instead of two. Fortunately I am a stay-at-home mom so I have good access to restroom but I can’t imagine taking this the first week outside. I think after a few days the body adjust and have less problem going to the bathroom. Seeing the oils does mean it works but leaves stains on toilet wall. I simply spray Clorox toilet bowl cleaner and that removes the stains. It does make me more sensitive of what I eat. My suggestions. Don’t expect to see the oils until the 2nd or 3rd day. Wear pads for the first week. I read reviews mentioning the oils found on the bed sheets. Well either don’t eat the pill at night or eat a low fat meal for dinner before bed.

I’ve been really happy with Alli, but this is definitely one of those products where you need to read the directions and understand how it works before taking it. It’s not something I’d take and then completely ignore what I’m eating. For me, I like that it’s straightforward and easy to add into a routine, and I appreciate that orlistat is an FDA-approved weight-loss medication rather than some random supplement making a bunch of wild promises. One important thing: pay attention to the recommended fat intake with your meals. If you eat a really high-fat meal while taking this, your digestive system may make sure you remember that decision. 😂 Overall, I’ve had a good experience with it when using it as directed. It’s not a magic pill and still needs to be paired with sensible eating, but as an additional tool, 5 stars from me.
