Box and packing was done with great care so arrived completely unblemished. Installation was pretty straight forward and easy. Once built I appreciated the sturdiness and look of the bed frame. My personal oversights: the height of the bed and my nightstands. I completely disregarded the height of the frame when looking into buying this. I knew platform beds ran small but was still surprised how low to the ground my bed was once it was all put together. I threw my old box spring onto the frame and that remedied the height problem but then the headboard (at its highest setting) was about 80% covered by the mattress and box spring. I detached the headboard from the frame and wall mounted it to a height that fit my bed with the box spring and it looks great. The two drawers next to the headboard are blocked by my nightstands which I can’t do without so I’m thinking I might just stow things I never or rarely need in there or maybe take the basket off of the upholstered piece and just hang the upholstered piece on the frame (that way I can just take that piece off to access the space under the bed rather than having to move the nightstand to get the whole drawer out.) I've had this thing since August 2023, so about 9 months. It was pretty easy to assemble (please, read the instructions. its easy to flip things around!) and only took about two hours including my dumbfoolery. It's very comfy with just the mattress and I don't really recommend a spring bed unless you're like, 6 feet. Super easy to put on sheets with no bottom board. It also didn't squeak at first, but it will probably start to squeak, because mine does a little towards the headboard. It might be lose screws. It also has really nice storage at the bottom, but don't put anything next to the bed, or you cant pull it out without shenangling the one next to it around. The carts also can lock onto the bedframe, so it gives a neat appearance. 5/5 bed frame if you're on a budget and want a cool looking tufted headboard. It's early and has only been used a couple of nights so far but initial impressions are pretty good with the exception of one bad part that may or may not be an issue in the future. I will be contacting the manufacturer and am hoping they will send a replacement part. The part in question was a metal central support post that had a bad weld on the end bracket. We put it at the foot of the bed rather than the head of the bed since the foot end would not have to support as much weight. The weight is also spread across a bunch of wooden slats and the outside metal frame so maybe it will be OK? There was a lot of assembly so it took a while to put together but it was a relatively easy project. Some of the screws required some patience to get threaded but all went in eventually. I will update in the future if we run into any problems after it's had some use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed a bed that went all the way to floor so my cats can't do zumies in the middle of the night under there or climb into box springs. That was making me grumpy af. I'm old and need my sleep. So I gave up the cal king and bought this beauty in a queen. It was so easy to put together and I did it all by myself. I saw other reviews that said you need 2 people but if you're a single mom and used to doing shit by yourself you'll be fine to put this together. Then you can brag about it, too and remind people that you're a bad@$$. I almost thought some of the holes weren't lined up properly on the drawers but then loosened the other side and everything fit. When they say not to tighten until everything is together they mean not even hand tighten. There is such a thing as too tight. So follow directions. For the longer screws, it took me a minute to find the second hole, or exit hole if you will. Yes I'm still talking about the bed. The drawers are secured when you push them in. It's a weird design idea but I like it. It's got a knob on the inside of the drawer and you lift and put it into a hole on the bedframe, which is easy to find if you're looking. Might be hard if it's dark and you're just feeling your way around. So it's not just a guy problem I guess. I tested it a few times and had to get down there and look. Some of the wheels slid off after I put the plastic screw on the side (which seem like a weird way to secure the wheels) because they have a claw like rim and that was loose but I just improvised and use some of the zip ties I had cut off from the slats and it worked just fine. This probably doesn't make sense until you're putting it together. I'm trying to be as descriptive as possible and not use words like "thingamajiggy". Overall I am super happy with this bed. My expensive a$$ purple mattress should fit fine on here and I'll be sleeping so good finally. I did have to get a bunky board because of the slats so if you have memory foam or anything special you'll need to consider that. Storage space seems legit. They do a decent job of utilizing as much space under the bed as possible. They could have done more but I'm sure they tested to see what works well with those little wheels. I just hope my cats don't think it's a new scratching toy. I don't want to put those plastic protectors all over this so I may accidentally let the cats outside for a day and see what happens. If anyone is looking for some cats I could probably help you. I've got 2 adorable little guys that I just took in. They're worse than raising kids. I didn't have to modify my house this much at all for raising children. Anyways, the bed is perfect and nothing will get under that bed when those drawers are closed. So if you're a crazy cat lady looking for solutions you've got yourself one right here with this purchase. You're welcome. ... show more

I ordered this bed for my son and he absolutely loves it. It is a full and sits a little low but he doesn’t seem to mind. The added storage underneath is a great feature. The drawers lock in place but aren’t on rails or anything so they slide all the way out. It’s actually more convenient to get things out of them that way! Don’t hold a ton of weight but good for bulky winter clothes. It took my husband and I just under an hour to assemble. All the parts were present and I liked how organized and well labeled the pieces were. The instructions are kind of garbage so helps if you are handy or have a helper that is! Really can’t beat this for the price! ... show more
