The bed is successfully assembled and in my room. It looks nice but I had a major issue during assembling. One of the legs to hold the bottom frame is off center with the holes. The other leg is fine, but this means I had to carve out the existing holes in the leg just to be able to screw the nail in. That is unacceptable and a major design flaw. It isn't perfect and until I purchase a power drill along with the correct wood head, the bed will always creek when getting up. Great bed overall, but a shining example of getting it done fast vs getting it done right.

So we just moved & needed to buy a bed & mattress. We went with this one because we loved the idea of the headboard that’s what our theme is. I didn’t really notice the reviews about how low it was because i got it during prime day & it was waaay cheaper than normal which was better for us. You can say this was a “fast buy”. We received it really quick & it was easy to put together i was able to do it by myself with a toddler “helping” me. It is very low to the ground but we have a two year old so it’s perfect for her to get on & off. I’m about 5’2 ish & it comes a little below my knees. After purchasing it i was reading the reviews for a mattress & we ended up getting a 8” mattress. That just came today so we’re sleeping in the bed tonight but so far it seems sturdy & like a good product. I just wish it was a bit higher. With the 8” mattress you can clearly see the headboard. We have it on the higher headboard setting but i’m sure if we lower it we could still see it. Overall seems like a good buy for at the moment eventually we might look into something taller but it will serve the purpose. I would NOT recommend for someone who has bad knees since it is so low.

I don’t write a whole lot of reviews and I was uneasy buying something like this online but I couldn’t ask for a better platform. For what it is, pretty damn inexpensive. Great quality. I bought a king and just love it. Extremely sturdy, made well and has the cool led lights. Headboard is small but perfect and comfy! Just the right size to prop head up for reading or watching tv. Yes, it is low to the ground but I love that too! Easy to get in and out of bed and can even sit on the side to put shoes on. I bought a new mattress as well but just saying I haven’t slept this great in ages. Absolutely worth the money, thank you!

NICE STURDY BED COMFORTABLE BUT IT IS VERY LOW VERY VERY LOW I HAVE TO PUT CINDER BRICKS UNDER THE BED TO MAKE IT HIGHER. IT'S PROBABLY ABOUT 13 AND A HALF INCHES OFF THE GROUND AND I'M IN A WHEELCHAIR LOL. BUT THE BED ITSELF IS NICE!

Before pic is with box springs, second we decided to remove box springs and add bed risers. Pros - this bed is very well put together. It looks great and we love the light. The music mode beats to the sound of well sounds (if you know what I mean) makes things a little more fun during ‘romantic times’ Cons - bed is very low to the ground, it is meant to be for just a mattress and no box spring (hence the headboard being so small) we ended up buying bed risers to get the bed off the ground. With just the bed and mattress it’s maybe 12 inches off the ground. Secondly and lastly it does have a small headboard, doesn’t really matter to me but it does bug my husband. Even with just the mattress the pillows still cover the whole headboard. If they had made the bed to sit 18-24 inches off the ground and made the headboard even 6 inches taller this bed would be a 5/5 but for those two reasons I am giving it a 4/5.
