I absolutely love my new echo spot! I got it because I had an ugly alarm clock on my nightstand and I wanted to replace it with a cute one that went with my stuff. I already had an Echo Dot so I knew that I liked this speaker and I loved the look of this display screen so it’s an amazing upgrade. It was super easy to set up and customize as well as connecting it to my phone was really easy. I have not had any issues with responsiveness or voice recognition. Every morning, I use it to turn on my lights and it works really well as well as the sound quality is great. If you are considering getting an echo spot, I would definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love my Echo Spot! It’s compact, stylish, and fits perfectly on my nightstand without taking up much space. Imagine waking up, looking at your clock to see if it's a good time to get out of bed, and instead of the time you see a video ad... and that's why the Echo Show 5 is, at least now, a poor choice for a bedside alarm clock. So, enter the Spot, thanks to a low upgrade price. First impressions are good - has everything I want and need from the device - clock, weather, alarm, ability to play music and news - and none of what I don't - NO ADS! (At least not yet, hopefully never.) All I had to do to get it set up was plug it in - everything was done automatically. It's a good size, and the clock looks good with some options and is easily readable from across the room. The sound is OK and if I want more I have it paired via bluetooth with a stereo system, just like my Show 5 was. The screen is actually a small square - it's not the entire upper half of the device as it may appear - might be nice if it was but for the lower upgrade price it's fine, with good color, quality and animations. I was so frustrated with my Show 5 displaying ads and yelling at it to "SHOW THE CLOCK" only for it to quickly go back to an ad that I had started unplugging it. So while the Spot may be seen as a "downgrade," for me it's actually an upgrade.

I absolutely love this Echo Dot! One of my favorite features is that you can customize the color of the clock display, which makes it easy to match my space. I chose the black version because it fits perfectly with my black, white, and beige office aesthetic. The sound quality is great for its size, and the volume gets surprisingly loud. I also really like being able to see the time and when music is playing on the display—it’s a small feature, but I find it very useful throughout the day. Setup was incredibly easy. Connecting it to the Alexa app only took a few minutes, and everything worked right away. The only feature I wish it had is the ability to display photos, but I understand that’s not what this model is designed for. Even without that, it’s an excellent smart speaker, and I’m very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely incredible. I have a couple echoe dots. But the Echo Spot is second to none. I love the LCD screen dispaly especially. Everything it's capable of and more. The volume on it is amazing. I was pleasantly suprised how loud it gets and the bass when playing music. I count on it for my daily alarm clock and so many cool features. You don't need a music service at all. Though it comes with a 90 day free music unlimited trial. You can just ask her to play a station by call letters, or Play {my state} public radio. There are a lot of specialty skills out there, ask her to enable Jazz Groove skill, then ask her to play a channel. You can just ask for a specific tune, podcast, etc. I use Bluetooth to play downloaded podcasts from my phone. There are 6 different clock setting displays to choose from. Its very straight forward and easy to set up. Seamless. I absolutely love it and I'm looking forward to getting another one.
