We purchased out pergola from Lowes about 5 years ago. The original canopy lasted quite well, as we would take it down after the spring/summer season. The original straps broke after 2 years and we just used bungie cord through the fabric to secure it. It finally ripped due to wind storms, so we began the search for a replacement. This search provided to be rather difficult to find a fabric close to what the original was. I came very close to purchasing a similar canopy for Garden Treasures pergola's for $119. After doing quite a bit of research on that particular sku number on the $119 canopy I found that it was more of a fabric than than a more durable nylon type canopy that originally came with the pergola. I contacted the manufacture and they informed me that this alternative didn't even come with attached straps to secure it. I was not going to spend that much money on a cheaper canopy top that we would have to replace after a year or two. Also that fabric didn't allow water through, so people complained a lot about having to take a broom to push up to remove water after every rain. So I stumbled upon this product, but was put off by the price. After looking more into it, it appears this was the same material that the original canopy top was, which proved to has for almost 6 years. We received it last week and couldn't be happier that we went ahead and spent the extra money on this product for the build quality. I do wish it was cheaper due to having spent so much money on the pergola itself, having to replace these can get quite costly. We were on the fence on just putting that money towards a solid metal roof pergola to mitigate the cost of having to replace the canopy in the future.

Purchased a pergola from Lowes 8 years ago. Took the canopy down after each spring/summer season but eventually the ties ripped. Used a bungee through a slit we put in the material to last awhile longer but finally broke down and purchased a new one. Almost everything I found was either cloth or tarp like. Nothing like our original. Purchased one and it was trash. I immediately sent it back and then came across this. It's the exact same as our original! Much better quality with the woven material that allows the water to pass through rather than pool. It's true beige as pictured unlike the other one I ordered that came yellow. Definitely worth the money.

We bought our pergola in 2015. We did take the canopy down during the winter to preserve its life. Otherwise it is up the rest of the year poolside. Fast forward to 2022, the canopy started to rip at the seams and look faded. This new canopy is excellent quality and is the same as the one that came with our pergola the day we bought it. This canopy should last for several years. Very happy with our purchase!

I'm so happy that this is the exact replacement canopy for my pergola. It's so much nicer than any others I was able to find. It isn't waterproof, it let's the water drip through so you don't have to worry about water pooling on the top of it. If you can't have a solid roof, you definitely don't want a waterproof canopy. It just gets saggy and attracts mosquitoes with pooled water. It's terrible. This canopy creates a wonderful shady spot to relax. My old canopy lasted 8 years before it dry rotted and split down the middle. I think that's a pretty good amount of time for one to last. This one was also less expensive than the others that I found, so it's a good value. Just be aware that you have to purchase the weighted bars separately if you need them. I still had my old ones so I didn't have to order those but this is only the canopy!

The quality of the pergola is very good. I like the dark color, as well. Does a good job blocking the hot sun on our deck. For the most part, the cover is water resistant. We had extremely heavy rain, and small puddles accumulated on top of the cover. Not sure why? I think the cover will serve us well this summer.

I ordered this product as a replacement cover for the pergola I purchased at Lowes many years ago and it fits perfectly. The pockets fit the original weight rods and have velcro to close the ends, which is a bonus. It also came with tie downs so it does not blow in the wind. This cover is superior to the one that came with the pergola. Thank you.

Was given this pergola about 4yrs ago. The cover finally gave out and after purchasing several other covers I finally found this one that is actually made for this specific pergola. It is the exact same one that comes with the pergola originally. Color and all. It lets light through without blaring your eyes out! The ties are super sturdy and the metal poles you place in the ends of the material, actually stay inside the slots as there is velcro on the ends. The material is sturdy too! Doesn't just feel like cheap plastic that is going to shred and stretch in the hot sun. If you are looking for a cover that fits a 10 x 10 pergola, this should do the trick :) Feel like I should purchase another and store it for another 4 yrs when this one gives out, just in case they stop making it.
