I am a Dad. I am 45. And I have one complaint about this product. Ages two and up is far too vague. I threw this saddle on my 85yo father, and after about a week of him getting used to having my hands near his head, neck, and ears (fed him a few apples), I put on a bridle and decided to ride him. He just collapsed to the floor screaming, "My back!" Perhaps I did something wrong, but "2 & Up"? Try "2ish - 40ish". This week I will try to ride my two year old, and provide an update.

I happened to find this item from watching one of our favorite YouTuber's, Danny Gonzalez. His video, The Weird Side of Amazon, is what led me here. I am probably not a typical Greg, because I am getting close to 40 years old, but regardless, I find Danny to be hilarious. I thought I'd buy these to torture my brothers-in-law, so I bought two of them for my nieces and nephews. They were a huge hit at our family Christmas party, and Dads had just as much fun as the kids, surprisingly. I hadn't laughed so hard in years. I wish I'd had these when my kids were small, but unfortunately it is not as fun to carry a teenager on your back (but we made the uncles do it anyway). Pony Up, Daddy!

DO NOT BUY THIS.....unless you have a ton of energy and want to give your kids rides non-stop. LOL. Your kids will ride on your back, and ask to ride on your back, all day every day until you are wore out and cannot do it anymore, and then they will whine because they want to keep riding!!!!! Seriously though, it is very fun for them and they like it so if you want exercise and have the energy have fun with them!

Not sure about this... Opened package and overwhelmed by a strong chemical odor. Going to air it out overnight but anything that strong, probably going to send it back. UPDATE: Aired out overnight outside and still horribly nasty smell. While it might be expected, I do not want my kid touching this product without knowing fully what the contents of the 'fabric' are and what the handle and cushions are stuffed with (heaviest smell from these locations). In any event, sending it back. Sorry Pony Up Daddy, I was really looking forward to giving this a try with my toddler.

Fits even bigger guys. My kids are going insane for this thing now! "Daddy be a crazy bull!" "Daddy I want to ride the horse!" It actually really comfortable and it is so much safer for the crazy bull to throw the kids around. (Gently) it doesn't hurt my back and the kids have a great time. 5/5

This is a great gift that just keeps giving. My granddaughter loves 'riding' on parents backs. It works great for my daughter but doesn't fit my son-in-law very well. It says it's up to 50" but it doesn't fit securely at all. He is 48" and will need the extender, but I doubt he will purchase it. He'll leave it up to mommy to play.

My daughter loves it! She normally holds on to my shirt, which then chokes me... with this saddle, she has a handle, and supportive seat cushions so I could even "buck", and she'd stay right where she wants to be!
