The solid carbide bit is excellent for a CNC router. As with all bits, it is important to use the proper speed and feed rate to create a proper chip load. The proper combination will maximize the life of the bit and render the ideal cut quality.

I am an amateur machinist, not a high volume professional. I mostly build one off parts for my hot rod shop. So what I look for are tools that do not break the bank but give me the performance that I need. These cutters seem to fill that roll.

So far so good, does what I need. Cuts good, no fuss. I don't have a CNC machine so I just use it in my router. Better than a bit you would get from lowes. The depth is great.

I have used this for some slotting so far but need a good ball nose for shaping. I have ordered other Align bits and they are pretty good.
