I’m working on a DIY pinecone wreath, for my stepmom, to hang on her courtyard front entry gate this coming Christmas. I was getting pretty frustrated searching for a ‘snow’ that was approved for outdoor use and was thrilled to find Aleena’s Glitter Snow. This is the only product I found that says it can be safely and permanently used for outdoor purposes (no yucky mess if it rains). Pinecones are rather tricky; first tried applying the glitter snow with a small foam wedge (forget that). Next, I tried using a small foam paint brush (forget that, too)! I, then, tried applying the glitter snow to the pinecones, using a stiff, stencil brush (perfect)! This is a great product, creamy texture, super easy to apply, soap and warm water clean up, permanently adhered in 24 hours. It took me about a hour to get the amount of coverage I wanted. This product worked great. I used it on pine cones to give them a snowy look which worked really well. Used a flat brush to get in between the cone layers. Easy to use. Washed out of my brush easily. The only thing I didn't like was that it wasn't "glittery" so I added extra fine white glitter to pine cones. Looks great. Just a reminder: it is a small (4oz) jar, but was plenty for my uses.
